Job Description A major service firm located in New York City it looking for a Domestic Tax Director.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review Consolidated U.S. Corporate Income Tax Return.
Prepare and review all Unitary, Combined and Separate State Income and Franchise Tax Returns.
Supervise tax staff in the preparation of sales and use property and other taxex.
Oversee all US and State tax audits.
Coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to assist with development of an optimal worldwide tax strategy.
Research tax issues.
Review/calculate interim and year end financial reporting requirements in accordance with FAS 109.
Skills Required Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
Advanced Degree such as MST or CPA preferred.
Seven or more years of corporate tax experience with at least 5 years focused on domestic taxation. Experience with
A Big 4 firm, law firm or corporate tax department of a multi state company is required.
Experience with computer software (Word, Excel and CORPTax).
Salary Range This is a permanent position paying up to 130k.
