Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Senior Developer/Analyst role is to participate in design and
development of WEB applications. Senior Developer must have strong knowledge
in software architecture and design and have experience working in a small
to medium development team environment. This position will specialize in a
specific development environment and is expected to translate business
requirements into concise and robust technical solutions.

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Work with business analysts to gather and document requirements.
· Develop functional and technical specifications.
· Prepare time estimates for individual deliverables.
· Develop and unit test applications.
· Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test
harnesses.
· Create and maintain technical documentation using defined
technical documentation templates.
· Participate in on-call, 24/7 coverage on a rotational basis.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 5-10 years of technical experience developing web applications
using following technologies
· Core Java with J2EE, Struts, JMS, EJB, AJAX, JavaScript, JSP,
HTML, CSS
Web services, XML, XML Schemas, XSLT
· Solid understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC)
· Must be client-facing and capable of working in a dynamic
environment to collect and document business requirements.
· Good writing and communications skills
· Capable of multitasking
· Good Customer Service skills

Position Summary:

The Client Applications IS group (ICA) is responsible for supporting and
providing technology solutions to our core front-office business functions,
namely our investment teams and our client facing teams. Within the ICA
group, the Client Applications IS team (75+ staff and consultants in the US,
UK, and Asia) provides and supports technology-based business solutions for
600+ global users in the Client Reporting, Relationship Management, Business
Development, Marketing, and Product Management teams.

The Client Applications team is seeking multiple Lead Systems Analysts to
define and deliver technology solutions to our client and market facing
teams. These positions require a high level of interaction with business
users. The Lead Systems Analysts will work with business users to identify
needs, conceptualize solutions, define requirements, perform detailed
systems analysis, and work extensively with the development team to deliver
the solution.

Roles exist for Reference Data, Client Reporting, and General Client
Applications Roles.

Candidates should have 10+ years of systems analysis experience in
investment management. Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative
instruments are important for this role. A strong technical and database
background is required to enable them to play a hands-on analyst role.

Key Responsibilities;

· Partner with business teams to proactively identify the firm's
growing needs around content management in order to develop long-term
scalable solutions.
· Participate and lead working group sessions with various teams
across the business to identify business use cases and project success
criteria.
· Work with users to understand their requirements, define
innovative solutions to address their needs, prioritize opportunities for
new/improved capabilities.
· Document and implement systems requirements via Use Cases and
Functional Specifications
· Communicate project status and risks to the broader project team
· Provide input into system design to help the programming teams
define effort and implementation schedules for application development work.
· Ensure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing
and building controls to measure the overall accuracy and timeliness of
delivery.
Keys to this Position:
1. 10+ years minimum work experience in a financial services
technology environment with a strong understanding of investment management
data (equity, fixed income and derivatives instruments and analytics) and
information delivery requirements. In addition, a strong understanding of
Reference Data, or Client Reporting or other Client Applications is
required, depending on the role.
2. Strong Oracle PL/SQL - SQL skills.
3. We are seeking Leadership skills as well. Person needs to be
delivery focused.
4. Strong Client Relationship skills are required. This individual
will partner with Business to understand business requirements.

Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Investment Administration Applications team is seeking a Lead Systems
Analyst who will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing,
and project management for initiatives supporting the Performance Services
group within Investment Administration. The Performance Services group is
responsible for investment performance measurement, performance attribution,
benchmark maintenance, and GIPS composite maintenance.
The position requires a high level of interaction with the business users as
well as excellent communication and delivery skills. The candidate should
be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of
assignments in a fast-paced environment with people at all levels of the
organization.
In 2011 the IA Applications team will begin a multi-year initiative to
replace the firm's legacy performance measurement system. This individual
will participate in the vendor evaluation and buy/build decision, and be a
key contributor in the detailed analysis and implementation of the new
system.

Key Responsibilities;

The Lead Systems Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

· Interact with investment professionals to proactively identify
opportunities for new/improved systems.
· Work with business partners to define, analyze and document
requirements.
· Document functional specifications for new systems and
enhancements.
· Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers,
database architects and data vendors to design and implement robust
technical solutions.
· Plan and perform functional testing of new systems and
enhancements.

Keys to this Position:

1. We are looking for a Senior resource with at least 5 years of
Performance Measurement and Attribution experience.
2. 10 years of financial services industry is required, preferably
asset management, custodian or related vendor experience (i.e. Eagle, DST,
CRD).
3. Strong Systems Analysis skills are required.
4. The CFA and CIPM are strong pluses.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· A minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial services
technology environment.
· A minimum of 5 years experience developing or supporting
performance measurement and/or performance attribution applications.
· Strong understanding of investment processes, securities,
analytics and market data services.
· Strong client relationship, communication and analytical skills.
· Demonstrated experience in project management and business
analysis for medium to large initiatives.
· Demonstrated experience in formal software development
methodologies.

Note - This is a hands-on, individual contributor development role - not a

· Knowledge and experience with Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives
is mandatory (Derivatives knowledge via graduate school academic background

· Experience with Sybase, Matlab, Fincad and/or Numerix is desirable
· Experience working with Bloomberg or Reuters is mandatory, other
market data provider experience is desirable
