Sales Training Manager
(based near Bridgeport, CT)
(Relocation expenses paid)
Client: Major international, well established, medical device manufacturer is seeking a Sales Training Manager for their Professional Training Department. You will be responsible for the organization and implementation of training programs for a team of hand selected, very bright
Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this position will include the following:
Conduct Sales Training classes at state of the art training facility
Prepare Training curriculum and support materials
Assist in the creation of educational training of the sales representatives
Continually evaluate and improve all facets curriculum
Arrange for field visits with field sales people
Interface with sales and marketing to ensure strategic plans
Assist in writing and editing e-learning modules
Other duties as assigned within designated budget
Requirements: (must haves)
Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 2+ years field sales experience within medical market
3 + years of professional sales training experience with a major medical or healthcare vendor, (note- client is not looking for a sales manager who has performed sales training as a part of their job function)
Excellent written and communication skills along with well honed presentation skills
Ability to travel when required. (moderate travel expected)
Compensation: $120-125K base salary + bonus + nice benefits.
