| My client is looking for somebody with the following skill set: This position is based at an Intergration Firm located in MidTown NYC
• VMware ESX Server (VMware Infrastructure 3.x) • VMware Virtual Center • VMware HA • VMware DRS • VMware-related LAN technologies (VLANs, NIC teaming/bonding, Etherchannel, LACP/GEC, Trunking, etc) • VMware-related SAN technologies (Fibre channel & iSCSI storage, zoning, LUN management, multipathing, failover and redundancy, storage optimization) • VMware P2V (Physical to Virtual) conversions • Citrix Presentation Server (including Metaframe, Xenapp, etc) • Citrix Access Gateway • End to end remote application delivery
Optional experience may include:
• Experience in professional services field • Experience in financial industry • Experience with VMware ACE • Experience with VMware vSphere 4 • Experience with VMware SRM • Experience with EMC SAN storage • Experience with Citrix XenDesktop (including desktop streaming) • Experience with Tier 1 hardware vendors and their products (Client, HP, Sun, IBM) • Experience with general concepts and methods of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity technologies
Certifications:
• VCP is preferred • VCDX is a big plus • CCA is preferred • CEE a big plus • Other related industry certifications are a plus
Location/Travel
This position is based in Midtown Manhattan. Travel to NJ, Westchester and Connecticut areas will be required on rare occasions.
