Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Developer/Java Equities Middle Office. The Equities Middle Office IT is responsible for driving operational efficiencies and functionally By bridging the various Front and Back office systems including Trade Matching and Settlement, Reconciliation, Post-Trade Compliance, Reporting and Data, Exception management / Transparence And Data Warehousing solutions. This position is located in their Jersey City office.
Main Duties: Full lifecycle application development for a Fails Management system within Equities Middle Office. Initial project to enhance the current Fails Management System to support Fixed Income Products.
Skills Required Seeking an experienced developer (at least 5 years development experience) to work within the Equities IT Middle Office Fails Management platform. Candidate must be experienced in the full lifecyle of application development and deployment. Must possess strong communictions skills and the ability to perform hands-on development as well as Oversee various aspects of project inception, design, development, and deployment handling off to the Equities Production Support team satisfying all requirements for a maintainable system aligned with firm standards. J2EE, strong understanding of relational database concepts, experience with messaging technologies. AJAX / Web GUI skills a plus.
Salary Range This is a temporary consulting assignment which will pay up to $500 a day Corp. to Corp. and less for W-2.
