Job Description A major Froeign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Java/Flex Developer in their New York City office. The Research IT is looking for a senior JAVA/FLEX developer to contribute in the development and support Of web-applications and analytical tools for the Bank.
This position will offer the opportunity to participate in all phases of the development cycle but also to work Directly with research analysts and the Bank's marketing team.
Main Duties: Work alongside research analysts and the Bank's marketing team to develop requirements and specifications Design and implement web-applications, analytical tools web-based for Fixed Income, Equities and Emerging Markets Research and contribute to the testing, support and monitoring.
Skills Required Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong object-oriented analysis and design. Able to work independently in a fas-paced environment. Previous experience in web-development. Solid communication skills. Expert in FLEX \ At least 5 years of experience in C# and ASP. Experience in Relational database (Microsoft SQL). Silverlight is a plus
Salary Range This is a temporary Consutling position and will pay up to $550 a day Corp. to Corp. and less for W-2.
