Summary
We are an independent global leader and provider of comprehensive Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, is seeking talented Software Engineers to join its U.S. team, headquartered in Parsippany , NJ .
Duties
- Develop technical specifications from functional specifications;
- Code software modules based on technical specifications;
- Create and execute software & system tests (unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing);
- Maintain previously developed product code, as required;
- Comply with corporate and client change management, quality management and standard operating procedures;
- Occasionally, travel to client locations to support the integration of the developed software;
Skills
- Object-Oriented design and programming skills in Java/J2EE; C++ a plus;
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (E/R diagrams) and SQL; Oracle knowledge is preferred;
- Knowledge of versio control systems (CVS, SVN) and build automation (ANT, Cruise Control);
- Ability to accurately describe a solution design and to specify the required testing;
- Thorough understanding of software project life cycle following the V model;
- Ability to consistently deliver quality work that meets established coding standards and due dates;
Experience
- 3 years of Java programming experience with complex environments, preferably using Eclipse and JBoss;
- Prior programming experience designing, coding and testing software in a Windows environment is required;
- Prior experience with relational databases application development and J2EE architecture is needed;
- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is required; a Master of Science is a plus;
