Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Java Flex Developer in their New York City office. Research IT is looking for a senior FLEX/JAVA developer to contribute in the development and support Of web-applications and analytical tools for Banks Capital Live.
The position will offer the opportunity to participate in all phases of the development cycle but also to work Directly with research analysts and the Bank's marketing team.
Main Duties: Work alongside research analysts and the Bank's marketing team to develop requirements and specifications. Design and implement web-applications, analytical tools web-based for Fixed Income/Equities and Emerging Markets Research. Contribute to the testing, support and monitoring.
Skills Required Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong object-oriented analysis and design Able to work independently in a fas-paced environment Solid communication skills Expert in FLEX At least 3 years hands-on experience with JAVA web application Open Source Softwar such as Spring, Hibernate is a plus C# experience is a plus.
Salary Range This is a temporary consulting position which will pay up to $550 a day Corp. to Corp. and less for W-2.
