Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Business Analyst Equities in their New York City Office. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Eliciting Requirements Producing Requirements Documents to the standard of the Bank
Producing functional specifications Modeling and logical architecture Overseeing the development of small enhancements / projects Supporting Senior Management Producing test cases and testing Coordinating testing across multiple areas Coordinating projects across multiple areas/Project Management Documenting existing processes, applications and workflows Planning releases and application migration Managing documentation respositories.
Skills Required Extensive banking experience; including experience of the derivatives markets. A background in application development (preferably on Front to Back Equity applications) Significant Business Analyst experience working with systems supporting the Equities Derviatives Business; with a proven Track record of delivering front to back technology change. Strong analytical skills Strong inter-personal skills Exposure to the Equity Markets Numerate graduate with mathematical background Experience working on cross product teams. Excellent understanding of investment banking technologies such as trading platforms, order management systems, risk and P & L Applications as well as the associated architecture. Experience of full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment)
Beneficial Experience: Exposure to working with outsourced resources Project management experience QA expertise SQL Excel VBA
Salary Range This is a full time position for a Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
