Position Description
This position will require the project management and support of the Central European profit center in the deployment of AIG Travel Insurance through all distribution channels. Act as the key liaison between this profit center, O&S teams and the distribution partner to analyze business requirements, recommend, document and deliver best practice, at least cost, to interface with AIG Travel Insurance systems/application s, claims and assistance systems and AIG finance systems. Provide a central point of contact and coordination for all AIG Travel Insurance distribution requirements within the Central European Region.
Position Requirements
*Continually advise and seek ways to improve and grow AIG's global partnership.
*Keep abreast of all ongoing developments in AIG's strategic suite of systems to maximize potential cross over benefits to and from the travel insurance systems; proactively communicate necessary updates to local and regional teams, as necessary.
*Make recommendations to improve or enhance process or procedure. Streamline relationship with regional counterparts and home office personnel.
*Provide support, analysis and training to the AIG Travel Insurance New York team, local and regional O&S teams and worldwide profit center personnel in the implementation and utilization of the AIG Travel Insurance XML interface (to the host engine) with internal and external distribution systems.
*Develop action plans which will best support the regional deployment team, local and regional O&S teams and worldwide profit centers to maximize AIG's investment in the XML interface distribution.
*Assist regional profit centers in business development opportunities. Assist in the identification of potential distribution partners. Prepare and participate presentations; support and manage the technical integration discussions with potential partners.
*Liaise with O&S team to evaluate any connectivity issues and ensure best practice that requires least additional development work.
*Provide support and assistance to the regional profit center in analyzing and delivering new and existing XML interface partners.
*Assist regional teams in researching and documenting local business requirements for AIG Travel Insurance applications and the connectivity of those applications to internal AIG systems. When necessary, compiling Business Requirement Documentation and managing the process thereafter.
*Coordinate and proactively manage appropriate deployment schedules with internal and external parties.
*Participate in the compilation and deployment of user testing scenarios for new and existing implementations; analyze and report results to ensure correct functionality is delivered.
*Work with the regional operational specialist to provide support for technical queries. Liaise with appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution.
