Associate Director, Process Improvement
 
Prerequisites:
Completed BS in Science or relevant discipline required.  Must have 7-10 years of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) auditing/managing experience in the pharmaceutical industry or diverse pharmaceutical experience, or demonstration of required skills and knowledge.
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
 
·          The Associate Director, Process Improvement will have responsibility for leading teams across function line units to deliver process improvement results.
 
·          Responsible for partnering with line units & other functions (Process Owners) to drive process improvement delivery through exemplary process design/improvement/ management skills using proven best practice techniques.
 
·          Identify, qualify, select, structure, and prioritize process improvement projects that are aligned with the quality and regulatory goals
 
·          Lead one or many complex, high-visibility projects across multiple divisions.  Provide hands-on team leadership and process improvement subject matter expertise
 
·          Help define and manage key stakeholder expectations and drive the successful delivery and completion of a process improvement project
 
·          Facilitate executive briefings, progress status reporting, definition of measures and generate project ideas, especially using metrics and benchmarking.
 
·          Direct and manage a group of professionals (4) responsible for the administration and training of the process and procedures.
 
·          Undertake analysis of data and information to identify and act on areas, leading to improved operational and process capability
 
·          Effective working relationships with fellow team members and internal partners, measured through observation and feedback
 
·          Challenge current working practices and exercise creativity and innovation in resolving business issues
 
·          Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedule or plan as required
 
·          Develops and prepares special customer surveys and information gathering tools; reviews results of audits and inspections
 
·          Establish and maintain effective working relationships; promote a customer-oriented approach toward meeting the needs of the organization
 
·          Speak effectively before small and large groups
 
·          Establish standards and evaluate performance; provide advice in the consultation to system users
 
·          Resolve operational and procedural problems and conflicts; respond effectively to a variety of changing situations; interpret, manage, and prepare program performance
