This is a technical position with light project management duties (PM 10%-Technical-90%).
The candidate is expected to have excellent familiarity with development standards, best practices and a well rounded understanding of the Microsoft .Net architecture.
Technical Experienced Desired:
Understanding of Network Architecture Components and Windows Operating System Experience with technologies supporting Web Services: XML, Soap, WSDL, UDDI etc Experience with .Net Framework and Tools: ASP.Net, C#, VB.NET Experience with SharePoint 2003 or 2007
Specifics:
The candidate is also expected to have current hands-on development and architecture experience.
Projects will be .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 driven. Accordingly, qualified candidates should have hands on experience with these platforms.
Depending on the assigned project, duration and complexity, the candidate may be expected to be the only technical representative for the duration of the project. Therefore, hands on design and development work EXPERIENCE are anticipated.
The candidate is expected have strong communication skills, particularly with regards to technical design specifications and verbal communication.
Successful candidate will contribute to project planning activities and will work closely with other organizations to make sure application development leverages common application platform and guidelines.

Description

o Closely follow a formal Project Management framework and develop all framework components including, but not limited to Business Cases, Cost/Benefit Analysis, and Resource Plans.

o Identify and manage potential risks and issues on both the technology and business side of the project.
o Make issue solution recommendations to business land technology leaders.
o Ensure project objectives are set and roles of team members are clear.
o Ensure reliable, timely and consistent communication of project priorities, status, timelines and deliverables
o Manage appropriate project prioritization of multiple projects
o Determine needed resources and establishing overall project plans and outline.

Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Degree in Business, Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
o 5+ years of demonstrated, relevant experience in applications systems analysis and/or programming and/or experience with complex projects.
o Prior experience managing projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
o Strong leadership, judgment and business acumen.
o Strong verbal and written skills - Ability to document and present issues and status to other team members and senior management.
o Proficient problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills
o Ability to handle complex situations, conflicts, issues effectively.
o Ability to analyze data, spot trends and
overcome barriers to effective project management.
o Ability to effectively maintain/build relationships across business groups.
