Job Description A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Business Analyst for their Credit flow team in their New York City office.
Main Function: A Business Analyst for the Credit IT Team dealing with front office marking valuation and risk for Fixed Income Credit products, A high energy, quick-learning, detail oriented individual with superior analytical skills who is Able to produce in-depth, well written documents used as a basis for planning and prioritizing their resources is Required for this position.
Main Duties: Analyze, document and recommend amongst alternatives for on-boarding of new products and businesses to Their front office valuation and risk platforms.
Responsible for the analysis and documentation for work on integrating the full risk picture for their business, Including hedging and prop instruments such as IRswaps, equities, equity derivatives, convertibles, Cash, derivative and structured products.
Interact with traders, developers, COOs, middle-office, finance and risk to produce high quality documents detailing Requirements and product workflows for booking, settlement, valuation, risk, P&L and explains as well as front-to-back Interactions among the various systems.
Skills Required Excellent written and communication skills with proven track record of analysis and workflow documentation.
Knowledge of Fixed Income products, ideally Credit derivatives, bonds and/or interest rate derivatives. Equity Derivatives or other financial product knowledge also considered.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized.
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Superior Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills, familiarity with add-ins and their use to run model spreadsheets.
Background in software development considered a plus.
Salary Range This is a permanent position for an Assistant Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
