Title: Validation Engineer

Duration 4+ months of Contract

Location Danbury, CT

Duties and Responsibilities

· Completes assigned projects and tasks in a timely and competent manner.

· Authors and maintains documents to required standards

· Maintains a positive IT/Client business relationship with clients

Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or MIS, with 2–4 years of experience; or relevant Business experience or IT experience with minimum of 3–5 years.

· Must have excellent knowledge of 21CFR part 11 validation requirements in highly regulated environments particularly those covered by GLP regulations, including previous experience of authoring and review of Computer Systems Validation Lifecycle documentation.

· Must have strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills

· Technical skills include a working knowledge of relational database concepts; experience with Oracle; experience with SQL database querying and reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and TOAD; working knowledge of client server technologies such as Citrix; working knowledge of Windows 200x Server, and VM Ware operating system environments

· Project team experience with medium to large sized projects with varying complexity; including creation of clear and concise documentation for various phases of the project implementation life cycle.

· Strong analytical skills to understand existing business processes; to deliver technology business solutions to contribute to the client's ability to meet business challenges

· Must be a results oriented, self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and strong organizational skills, and flexibility to manage changing business priorities, and proactively seek opportunities to contribute to the success of the business.

· Knowledge of the DMPK area particularly Bioanalytical instrumentation/ processes/data handling is desirable.

· Knowledge of Applications such as Watson LIMS from Thermo, Hamilton robotics systems and SmartLab from VelQuest or other GLP compliant Electronic Laboratory Notebook system is desirable.
