Project Management Support start date ASAP will last 3-12 months contract will be renewed every 90 days

 

Function:

 

The following skills are required as part of the Sustaining Engineering Project Management Services:

Sustaining Engineering Project Management:

• Provides daily design support for all Sustaining Engineering Service Delivery.

• Manage Engineers and Deliverables for designs for Service Delivery

• Support relationships with key upstream IT delivery organizations (IP Services, application support, etc).

• Manage Engineers Business As Usual (BAU) network designs
for Service Delivery.

• Support service quality metrics.

• Provide PM leadership to other members of network team

 

Industry Knowledge:

 

• IP Telephony Knowledge

• Computer Networking

• Fiber Optics

• LANS/WANS

• Switches – Cisco Catalyst platform

• Wiring Standards

• PMP skill level requested

I am looking for a Data Network Engineer (CCIE Preferred).  Please note the following:
 
Job Description           A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Data Network Engineer (CCIE Preferred) in their New York City office.
 
                                   Main Duties:
                                   The  capability to identify possible network affecting situations, faulty hardware or logical problems.
                                   Access the network and via the use of their knowledge and available tools, identify and resolve the fault in a timely manner.
                                   Manage projects to complete on time and within budget.
                                   Complete weekly/daily tasks associated with operational support.
                                   Perform oversight on engineering initiatives within the region.
 
Skills Required             5 to 7 years o hands on experience with Cisco routers/switches.
                                   CCIE Certified (Preferred).
                                   Excellent written and verbal skills.
                                   Work experience in a large, multiple site, multi-protocol LAN and WAN, preferable within a global financial institution.
                                   Work with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
                                   Cisco Natkits, Niksun analyzer, protocol analyzer, Spectrum.
 
Salary Range               This is a permanent position for an Assistant Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
