Program Overview:
It's 2009, and the economy is tough. You receive the unfortunate news that training budgets must be drastically cut. One of the casualties is your New Manager Training, which receives phenomenal feedback from participants. You know that it addresses a critical business need for the company, and you want to deliver a program that achieves the same level of feedback, but with half the budget.
Come and spend 3 hours, working through this problem live, and leave with creative ideas, tools and solutions.

During this session:
You will "wrestle" with the three following common questions and concerns:
  1. What are the benefits of eLearning, and how do I calculate soft & hard cost savings for online and blended learning?

  2. What are some of the types of eLearning solutions I can suggest? Show me samples!!
  • Self-paced
  • Live-Virtual Instructor-led
  • On-demand-Virtual Instructor-led
  • Just in time or m-Learning
  1. Provide some sample ILT programs that were converted to eLearning.

Who will benefit from the Workshop:
Anyone in the above situation – you may have no eLearning experience, or you may have several years under your belt. Either way, you are bound to find something useful from this fun, interactive session.

Learning Format:
The workshop will be very interactive, with participants helping each other to brainstorm ideas for eLearning solutions.
We encourage all ASTD members to attend. This is a valuable learning opportunity, so invite a colleague or friend!
