Title: Product Monitoring Specialist

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $40-$45/hr C2C, $34-39/hr W2

Our client is seeking a Product Monitoring Specialist to support processing
of product complaints. The ideal candidate will be able to classify each
complaint by severity and defect type, determine if criteria are met to
initiate an investigation, and enter case data into a validated database,
all within set timeframes and in accordance with departmental procedures and
Federal Regulations. This person will need to communicate with the
appropriate teams and departments, as warranted by the complainant, to
ensure proper processing from receipt through closure.

Responsibilities:

- Bachelor's Degree required

- Review information received on potential product complaints and determine
if each meets the criteria for further processing.
-Classify each product complaint by severity and defect type.
-Determine if criteria are met to initiate an analytical investigation.
-Enter complaint information into a validated product complaint database.
-Create and maintain a hard copy case file.
-Determine if additional information needs to be obtained from the
complainant. Specify the questions that need to be asked of the complainant
and submit those questions to the appropriate department to follow up by
phone call or letter.
-When product samples are to be returned, complete appropriate forms and
request applicable letters be sent.
-Review requests for product refund or replacement.
-Review investigation report and write/review final letter to complainant.
-Adhere to compliance timeframes set in department procedures and the Code
of Federal Regulations.

Job Description              A major Foreign Bank Holding Company is looking for a Java Developer Web Portal Services  if their office in Jersey City.
 
                                     Main Function
 
                                     The Java Developer will work within the Web Portal Services - Account Management Team.  The team is responsible for the
                                     Enterprise platform´s authentication and authorization features and managing the end-to end lifecycle of over 300k portal
                                     Accounts.  The custom built platform includes a provisioning application, authorization engine and a suite of application
                                     Intergration technologies.  The work includes redesigning highly used and scalable we-based applications.
 
                                    Main Duties
 
                                    Responsible for full cycle development of new and existing applications and components:
 
                                    Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.
                                    Work as a team player in a global development group participating in requirements gathering, design and development.
                                    Communicate and collaborate between the infrastructure, development and business groups.
                                    Ability to generate ideas and efficiently mock up proposals and demos.
 
Skills Required              B.S. degree in computer science or related field.
                                    Four+ years of experience in Java programming.
                                    Hands on experience with J2EE (JDBC, collections, threading knowledge, OO concepts) design and development, including
                                      Writing unit test cases and delivering quality code.
                                    Web UI experience (HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX , Flash, FLEX) or willing to develop UI experience.
                                    Strong SQL skills with Stored Procedure knowledge.
                                    Knowledge of relational database techniques and architecture - Oracle.
                                    Experience working in UNIX environment.
                                    Overall understanding of web architecture.
                                    Candidate should be able to diagnose problems quickly and independently.
                                    Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies and applications a must.
                                    Working knowledge of directory services - LDAP and AD is a plus.
                                    Working knowledge experience in financial industry is a plus.
 
Salary Range                 This is a permanent position for an Assistant Vice President and the salary is based on experience.
