Position Description:
Provides contract support to the Technology Management team across two key areas:
Business analysis including business case development and technology solution benefits analysis
Business and technical requirements documentation
Core Responsibilities & Scope of Work
• Deliverables, Accountabilities, Outcome Metrics
• Works closely with multiple constituents within Technology Management and Sales Operations.
• Participate in contextual evaluations under the guidance of the User Experience team.
• Works with the Business Demand lead to identify, develop, and maintain key methodologies, processes, tools and templates and ensures that he/she utilizes these approaches on a daily basis.
• Works effectively in multi-functional project teams and can play a leadership role, when requested, in an environment of influence.
• Leads technical feasibility analysis, financial analysis and modeling (e.g. demand forecasting)
• Develops business cases for financial approval.
• Identifies and communicates the interaction and implications between strategy and financial risk/return.
• Leads or supports the development of Requests for Proposal (RFPs)/Requests for Information (RFI\'s) as needed.
• Serves as technical advisor on capturing and articulating end user functionality requirements.
• Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects to determine end user functional and cross-functional requirements.
• Independently performs functional analyses and develops business requirements documentation.
• Provides recommendations for functional enhancements on existing solutions based on end user feedback.
• Delivers functional specifications for selected USP technology solutions and monitors quality of functional specifications developed by other constituents.
• Supports the User Experience team with data modeling, use-case analysis, mock-ups, and prototypes based on requirements analysis.
• Designs process flows of solution features, defines hardware and software requirements (in conjunction with line architects) of required features in solution, writes use cases, and prepares test scripts as required.
• Key metrics include business cases and benefits tracking in place and maintained for each project, customer satisfaction with support provided (internal to TM and external), effective documentation delivered for all projects, delivery of timely market trend analysis and reports, and effective delivery of functional analysis support to the User Experience.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Business Experience – Pharmaceutical Sciences
