Sr. Manager, Enterprise Architecture

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $130K to $140K with 15% target bonus.

Will 'assist' with relocation.

General Comments
Technical Accountabilities:

Leads a global team of Enterprise, Site and Functional Architects to design
and maintain the Company's global Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF)
and supporting guiding EA principals. Provides technical and organizational
leadership for Enterprise Architecture globally.

Responsible for the development of the technology roadmap; collaborating
with Business and IS leadership, Corporate and Site EA Delegates, Global
Application Management team and Global Infrastructure team members to
develop strategic roadmaps in support of company objectives. Leads the
review of all IS projects to assure compliance with the EAF and technology
standards.

Leads the development and maintenance of Future Architecture Models defining
the Business, Data, Application and Infrastructure of the enterprise and
their relationships.

Responsible for leading Enterprise Architecture initiatives with the
Business Organization and Local Site Design Authority to identify unmet and
future business and technology requirements. Aligns the business
requirements with the data, application and infrastructure components.

Leads the development and maintenance of architecture inventories in
collaboration with Local Site Design Authority for business processes, data
and information assets, applications and infrastructure.

Supports the Sr. Director, EA &PM lead Global IS Strategy concerning
Application Strategy, Data and Information Assets, Infrastructure and
Business Processes.

General Accountabilities:

Accountable for planning, scheduling and controlling daily operations within
IS functional area, including staff and resource scheduling and work
prioritization.

Plan, schedule, control and coordinate all project work in alignment with
project scope and timing requirements. Ensures IS staff and end users are
trained appropriately. May perform matrix management and project roles in
large-scale complex local / global projects.

Leads the implementation of improvements to the quality and efficiency of IS
processes, systems and results.

Ensures that relevant global IS procedures and policies are followed
consistently as defined by QMS. Follow the appropriate global regulatory
guidelines such as 21CFR part 11, 210, 211 and current Good Manufacturing
Practice (cGMP).

Management of CC expenses within budgeted guidelines as assigned. Support
the development of annual IS budgets, including OpEx/CapEx.

Negotiate with IS senior management and business stakeholders for resources
and priorities in order to satisfy business imperatives.

Collaborates with IS management counter parts to proactively communicate the
status of ongoing and upcoming IS services to key stakeholders.

Selects and hires employees as related to IS functional area. Trains and
evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development and work
product. Addresses and solves performance issues. Takes the initiative to
motivate and reward employees and recommend / negotiate salary increases,
bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.

Lead career planning for direct reports as related to IS functional area.

Maintain knowledge of current technologies and provide recommendations in
line with business needs.

Support stakeholders in developing and presenting business cases for IS
investment.

Develop and maintain key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and
efficiency of IS processes.

Provides hands-on support to all aspects of related IS operations. Performs
all other job related roles or responsibilities as assigned.

Provides off hours support as it relates to IS functional area.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years related experience and demonstrated mastery working with
Enterprise Architecture (including both application and infrastructure).

In-depth knowledge of information technology, systems & data architecture
design and software development life cycles. In-depth project / program
management experience, including multi-national projects / programs.

Experience in global ERP environment.

BS/MS or equivalent, preferably in IS, science or engineering.

Strong skills in the areas of communication, problem analysis, delivery on
results, self-development, adaptability, flexibility, global perspective,
strong time management and organizational skills.

Strong skills in the areas of Project Management, Requirements Gathering and
Test & Validation required.

High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office products (Project,
PowerPoint and Visio).
