Title: BI Sr. Developer

Local Candidates only

Participate in requirements gathering sessions with the business and BI Analysts to understand business analysis requirements
* Develop prototype views and reports of the data, and work with business users to refine their analysis requirements
* Work with BI Analysts and EDW DBA to develop Data Mart table designs
* Participate in data design walkthroughs to communicate Data Mart table designs to ETL developers
* Develop BI solutions using EDW standard tools set
* Develop and execute functional test plans of Data Mart loads and report/view objects
* Work with EDW Tech Leads and DBA to develop production batch stream processes that will work within our required processing window
* Follow established SQL Server standards for design, development and migrations
* Follow established standards for source version control and Change Management, i.e. Dev, QA/UAT, and Production
* Research and help implement new tools and technologies for satisfying analysis needs
* Participate in testing of DBMS and BI tool upgrades

Requirements/ Skills:
* 5-7 years of Analysis Services experience, 2-3 years of Analysis Services 2005
* 2-3 years of Reporting Services experience
* 2-3 years of SSIS experience
* 5-7 years experience developing BI solutions in a large Data Warehouse environment
* Very strong SQL and stored procedure skills
* Strong Star Schema modeling skills
* Experience with Analysis SQL Server 2008 desired

Skills Required:                              
·        Looking for a person who is experienced in assessing customer needs, usability of an application from a look and feel perspective, possibly having human factors knowledge or experience
·        Mobile Handset Applications Testing regarding usability
·        3+ years exp testing Handset applications
·        5-10 yrs QA
This role is not a pure functional test position. Experienced in helping assess and test mobile handset applications focusing upon usability or human factors regarding the look and feel of the application versus just its functional operation.
- This work may involve analyzing and providing feedback regarding requirements, assessing the operation of an application relative to meeting customer needs, and or organizing / assessing the feedback associated with focus groups or usability studies regarding the application.
- In terms of mobile handset experience, the person should be familiar with such platforms such as Android, Windows Mobile, RIM and or BREW.
- The individual should be used to working within an Agile type environment with respect to small teams, projects of 1-3 month duration, working closely with development, business analysts, other testes, and infrastructure teams regarding product deployment.
- In terms of handset applications, having experience with applications that involve music content, video, ring tones, multi-media messages, or e-commerce based applications is a plus.
- The individual should be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, be a team player, and have a high degree of follow through regarding completing assignments.
- In working within a QA team, the individual should also be familiar with test plans, defect management, and executing test cases. Having experience with tools like Quality Center (defect and test case management), QTP regarding automated test scripts, familiarity with web protocols like HTTP and HTTPS, and executing UNIX and or SQL commands is a plus.

Job Description:
The Internet Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for internal sponsors across the organization. This position requires a background in web metrics, tracking and reporting, and quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate will have a degree in statistics, business, and/or computer information systems.

• Generate, distribute, and present reports and analysis across the organization
• Manipulate available databases and perform data analysis & reporting to understand customer preferences, site usage, and trends.
• Use query and web analysis tools to define and track key performance metrics related to business performance, identify failure points or opportunities for improvement, and provide insights into key customer and marketing activities.
• Provide research, analysis, and support for developing business initiatives, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to better understand customer positioning, and prepare presentation documents.
• Use SQL to fulfill data requests and perform analyses
• Write sophisticated ad hoc queries
• Responsible for managing internal and external technical staff relationships to ensure reporting and measurement systems are operating and configured properly.
