Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Analyst, Sales Operations is responsible for:
• Developing strategic and tactical goals operating as an internal consultant,
• Serving as a subject matter expert and strategic partner.
• Liaison between the Sales organization and the Marketing, Finance, IT and Supply Chain organizations.
• Leading role with all commercial initiatives on the Sales organization.
• Primary internal business partner to the Sales organization with a focus on supporting Sales management and their efforts to achieve annual objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analysis and reporting to Sales and Finance management teams.
• Examine historical performance, market data and statistical trends.
• Gain insight regarding personnel, key accounts and individual market conditions through various fact-finding initiatives.
• Develop and present fact-based recommendations including quota setting
• Dive the expansion and restructuring of the field force.
• Examine existing geographies, historical performance and market data to model prospective areas of expansion.
• Develop and propose expansion targets to Sales management, presenting approaches and interpreting the results.
• Developing annual and one-time incentive compensations structures.
• Analyze and evaluate historical data tied to incentive compensation.
• Develop models based on proposed structures to simulate prospective scenarios and the resulting outcomes.
• Summarize and present outcomes to Sales, Marketing and Finance management teams.
• Administration of resulting plans.
• Develop product demand and revenue forecasts to support S&OP and FP&A exercises.
• Employ modeling techniques to forecast demand and revenue trends.
• Partner with senior members of the Sales and Marketing organizations to understand key business drivers and develop consensus forecasts.
• Forecasts to key stakeholders within the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain organizations.
• Develop, maintain and monitor components within a CRM solution in support of the goals and objectives of the Sales organization
• Analysis and presentations for members of the Sales organization.
• Leading the creation and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance and support the Sales organization.
• Analysis to support inquiries and initiatives related to Sales organizations and field based activity.
• Lead contact with internal customers to address issues and concerns of the Sales organization.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required based on changing business needs.

Skills

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Finance.
• At least 4 years of sales analyses experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook

OTHER POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the basic qualifications listed above, the following other position qualifications are required:
• Experience with analysis of Sales operations, sales reports, and sales quota setting process
• Experience with expansion and restructuring of the field sales force
• Experience with developing sales incentive compensations structures
• Experience with product demand and revenue forecasts
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in finance or business
• Experience in Medical Device, Pharma, Biotech or CPG industry
• Knowledge of statistics as applied in a business environment.
• Experience with TerrAlign, Cognos, SQL, VBA, SAS, SPSS, Salesforce.com, Siebel CRM or other comparable software platforms or languages.
• Expertise working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of business issues that are influencing the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools.
