Finance Manager
I. POSITION SUMMARY:
The R&D finance manager is responsible for providing financial support to various R&D functions.
II. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides a broad range of financial support and direction to research and development colleagues throughout the R&D organization.
2. Will be responsible for developing expense budgets, forecasts and conducting variance analysis.
3. Provides timely and accurate management reporting to department heads and Executive Management.
4. Represents finance on cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
5. Will provide analytical support to various R&D functional areas.
6. Will provide financial oversight and administer financial aspects of co-development program activities with external partners and internal development team members.
7. Will provide occasional support and interface with other functions outside of the R&D organization (e.g. Business Development, Corporate Finance and Corporate Accounting).
III. ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Will provide assistance on various process improvement initiatives.
2. Will provide input into system development and enhancement initiatives.
IV. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: B.S. in Finance or Accounting, M.B.A. strongly preferred.
Experience:
At least seven years of finance and accounting experience including financial analysis, financial planning and management reporting. Strong knowledge of GAAP, activity based costing and management is essential.
Minimum of 3 years experience supporting the research and development function within a life sciences organization (i.e. Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical devices) organization.
Must have strong financial systems knowledge including experience participating on implementation teams and hands-on experience with modern ERP systems (preferably SAP-ECC) and financial planning systems (SAP-BW/BI, Hyperion, TM-1 etc.)
Process mapping and design experience preferred.
Project accounting, planning, and management experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Must be proactive and possess the ability to work independently.
Flexibility and the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines are essential.
Exceptional computer skills including all MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Familiarity with MS Project and Visio preferred.
Must be able to work effectively on cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
IT department is seeking an IT Datacenter Operations Associate to contribute to the ongoing management and operation of several data center facilities. These facilities can range from Datacenter Co-Location Facilities to smaller campus IT equipment, MDF/IDF rooms. Activities will include execution of standard operating processes and the installation of IT Infrastructure. Responsibilities would include:
• Ensure the IT Data Center infrastructure is fulfilling business needs through ongoing maintenance and support
• Ensure infrastructure availability and stability â€" Identify and escalate any issues
• Ensure that the service incidents and requests are being addressed excellently and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
• Participate and drive continuous improvement of the infrastructure service
Position Requirements:
• Minimum of five years of Data Center Operations experience
• Hands on experience with server/network equipment/telecommunication physical installation, troubleshooting and repair
• Proficient with structured copper/fiber cable connections/trouble shooting and hyper attention to neatness and detail
• Experience with HW installation, baseline configuration, turn up coordination, level 1 incident response for Cisco Lan/Wan/SAN equipment, SLBs, DWDM equipment.
• Experience with HW installation, bare metal configuration, turn up coordination, level 1 incident response for traditional and blade servers
• Experience with installation coordination, turn up and level 1 response PBX, VoIP, turret equipment
• Experience with installation coordination, turn up and level 1 incident response of EMC storage
• Experience with troubleshooting Telco circuits, T1, T3, OCn, FE, 1G, 10G, Dark fiber
• Good understanding of Data Center power/cooling concepts
• Willingness to work flexibility on any shift in support of a 24x7 operation.
• This position will be required to work a combination of days / nights / weekends
Preferred candidates would also meet the following criteria:
• Extensive (5+ years) IT infrastructure and data center operations
• 4 year degree in related technical field
• Proficient in WAN/MAN, server and PBX technologies/installation/ repair
• Proficient in system administration of Cisco network equipment, traditional and blade servers
• Proficient in troubleshooting of telecom carrier circuits/facilities
• Proficient in power distribution, data center cooling strategies and related monitoring systems

Client is a major national Systems integrator, looking for DW/BI Solution Architects. These positions are True road warriors on the road Mon- Thur or Mon â€" Fri , depending on Client demands. They will be responsible for direct contact with clients, needs analysis, gather requirements, figure out where they need to get to, the technologies to recommend , roadmap, do a Proof Of Concept and then hand off to one of the DWBI Program Mangers Verticals to develop and implement. Salary is up to $140- $150K + bonus of up to $20K.
