Title; Senior DB2 z/OS System Programmer  Full time; Jersey City ideal offer about $120-130k range+ bonus
5+ years of DB2 systems programming in a corporate environment interfacing with DB2 DBAs;
Use SMP/E to install, configure, and maintain DB2 software and software products.
In-depth technical knowledge of DB2 internals and its interfaces to z/OS, OS/390. Understands application DBA tables and functions.
Troubleshoot DB2 system problem.
Design and implement databases and perform database administration duties, including running all DB2 and OS utilities.
Develop backup and disaster recovery procedures and conduct DR tests.
Can work independently or on a team.
Willing and able to provide 24 x 7 support as needed.
Data Sharing and Sysplex experience is a plus.
Use software tools such as Platinum, BMC, and Omegamon and programming in SQL, REXX is a plus.

C/C++ Lead Software Engineer - (US-NY-Valley Stream)

Compensation: $120K - $150K / Year

This position is responsible for the design and development of Incident Response applications. Formalize existing internally developed forensic tools into an integrated suite of applications for deployment and use during incident response engagements. 

Work directly with forensic specialists to build highly scalable and maintainable applications using high-performance design and development techniques. Develop an automated unit testing framework and work closely with quality assurance engineers to deliver predictable high-quality product releases. 

The prospective candidate will benefit from experience developing computer forensic, security and/or network related application software. This senior level position requires leveraging an understanding of the application environment as well as requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with functionality requirements, coding best practices, and our SDLC. 

Candidate Qualities 

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in progressively advanced hands-on software development roles. The position requires strong debugging skills. Windows kernel-mode development and debugging experience is a must. Strong written and verbal communications skills will be necessary to facilitate design discussions and documentation. 

Work in a self-directed environment where strong teamwork, individual initiative and accountability are highly valued and expected. Personal flexibility and ability to work within a global footprint is a must. 

Essential Job Functions 

Leverage existing source code to develop, enhance and integrate features of a high-performance incident response system. Utilize existing SDLC tools and processes to track development progress and code changes. 

Requirements 

12+ years Windows C/C++ user-mode software development 

3+ years C/C++ Linux development experience 

Strong Multi-threading, Win32 and STL experience is a must 

3+ years Windows kernel-mode development and debugging 

3+ years Forensic, Security and/or Networking software development experience 

Desired 

Working knowledge of C# and the .Net CLR and Framework 

Familiarity with JIRA and Subversion 

Education 

Education and Work Experience Required 

A bachelorĂ¢€™s degree in computer science or information technology is required OR equivalent progressive work experience. The candidate must have experience representing a company and/or development organization both internally and externally in a consistent and professional manner. 

Must have Windows kernel-mode development and debugging experience
