We are looking for an exceptional individual to manage the company's strategic applications that include a dynamic Product Approval workflow system and a Digital Asset Management system. This position requires experience with both automated workflow development and application integration. The platforms in place include an Oracle-based SOA architecture with Java and Oracle Fusion Middleware 10g technology components including Portal, JDeveloper, BPEL, JSP, EJB, servlets, MVC etc. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills to understand and clarify the business objectives, along with strong technical and analytical skills with Oracle technologies, as well as experience in managing vendors who are developing customizations. . The candidate will also be responsible for defining the integration strategy for both Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee an SOA Architect, a DBA, as well as multiple developers and vendors who implement enhancements for a dynamic Product Approval workflow system and Digital Asset Management system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: · Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree. · 10+ years of post college IT experience · 3+ years prior experience as a technical lead or equivalent · 2+ years experience with assessment and implementation of content management, asset management solutions required. Should be aware of the latest technology advances in the area of content / asset management solutions and the future technology trend of vendors in this industry vertical. · 2+ years hands-on working experience on Integration projects using Oracle Fusion tools (BPEL or BAM – at least any one), Oracle Portal technologies is a must. · 2+ years working knowledge of Single Sign On Integration using Oracle Portal, E-Business Suite and other non-oracle applications and products required. · Overall knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and BPEL required. · Prior development experience using Java, Oracle (Advanced SQL*plus and PL/SQL), Struts (or similar framework), Hibernate (or similar persistence layer), JSP; server side Java programming i.e. JavaBeans, J2EE web component standards, concurrency issues (threading), standard OO design patterns, XML, data binding a plus. Knowledge of Oracle is a MUST! ·
