Responsibilities
Seeks a Senior Developer, in New York to design and develop core portal intranet systems. Responsibilities include developing reusable objects (JavaScript, ASP.NET, Web Services) used throughout a corporate intranet. You will be designing and developing components that will be used in highly visible, mission critical applications throughout the firm. This position also entails training programmers in the use of developed components, monitoring performance of web based applications and writing application documentation.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess an extensive knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, XML/XSLT, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Additional knowledge of database design (MS SQL 2005+), stored procedures and triggers are required. A good working knowledge of web standards (W3C), internet protocols (HTTP, etc.) n-tier application design, client-side vs server side development is a plus. Additionally, the successful candidate will know UI and HCI concepts and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and business environments.
