Our client is a fast growing hi-tech software company solving today's
mission critical trading applications performance issues. They are a leading
innovator in transaction performance management domain whose patent pending
network-based and technology agnostic based platform automatically discovers
and reports trading execution or market data performance latency. Their
technology's capabilities enables customers to gain a complete view of the
transaction flow across multiple tiers of the data center without being
hindered by technology specific protocols, applications, operating systems
or even network devices. Their transaction performance management platform,
enables financial services firms to extract and improve performance from
their existing systems, conduct accurate capacity planning and in real-time
improve transaction throughput.

Position Overview:

The VP of Operations & Services will be responsible for leading the
operations and managing the service associated with the high frequency
trading community. In addition, the VP of Operations & Services will be
responsible for managing the company's pre-sale and professional services
practice, including P&L responsibility and leading large product deployment
projects. The VP will build and maintain customer relationships in order to
assure high customer satisfaction and usage of the company's service and
product offerings. The position is ideal for a person who is committed to
top delivering top quality service to mission critical applications. This
person will be expected to be accessible 24x7 when required. This is a very
senior position and is very demanding.

Responsibilities:

. P&L responsibility for Professional Services Practice.

. 24/7 global operations support

. Building and Managing NOC and Operations in appropriate service
environments.

. Ownership of presale activities with prospects including
presentations & POCs.

. Responsibility for hiring and developing a team of SE's, PM's, &
architects.

. Manage service operations and associated resources.

. Responsibly for handling service equipment and SLA at customers'
sites.

. On time product delivery and on budget.

Must Have Requirements:

. 10 plus years in the development and/or support of electronic
trading systems, or operations support for electronic trading desks.

. 10 plus years working closely with customers on the trading desk.

. Prior experience for a budget and P&L for a Professional Services
organization.

. Superior execution and delivery skills.

. Experience in leading highly technical trading software related
implementation projects.

. Strong written, verbal business and technical communication skills
combined with an aggressive, "can do" attitude.

Preferred Experience:

. Strong background in High Frequency, low-latency electronic
trading.

. Experience in providing 24x7 FIX support for customers, projects
and operations

. Background in Equities, Futures, Options, or Fixed Income trading.

. Experience building and managing data center and services for
buy-side/sell- side customers.

. Worked closely with Exchanges, ATS, and Dark Pools.

Education: BS degree (technical focus a plus)

Location: New York City, NY

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Travel: approximately 20% domestic and 20% international.

Compensation: $150K base, depending on experience and prior earnings. Plus
equity, bonus and benefits.

Educational Technology Manager
Company located in Northern New Jersey
Job Summary:
The position is based within Information Technology Department. This position will report to the Leader of Information Technology Department.   The incumbent will lead the educational technology team and work closely with associates to support their technology related projects. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the backbone of the entire Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up.  This position is located in Teaneck NJ. Relocation to Teaneck, NJ may be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
·         Act as a liaison between Information Technology and associates.
·         Provides support to the teams that are using learning management systems, data-driven decision support tools, videoconferencing, audio/video tools, webcasting and all other technologies that support learning.
·         Work closely in conjunction with the e-Training team leader to support e-Training technologies.
·         Keeps current with technology, workplace innovations and obtains relevant training that support job functions.
·         Develops computerized solutions (e.g. customizing and/or designing electronic documents, creating and/or updating user databases, specialized queries, etc.)
·         Respond to support requests regarding the Learning Management System and other technologies within one business day.
·         Resolve technology issues related to the LMS.
·         Perform system admin tasks along with the e-Training team leader for the LMS.
·         Manage and test upgrades to the LMS and other technologies.
·         Maintain open communications with LMS and other software vendors to ensure high level of technical support. Provide escalation services and communication paths.
·         Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of instructional multi-media programming as required.
·         Run system reports on key learning metrics and provide data to upper management, when required.
Job Requirements:
·         Master's degree in Computer Science, Educational technology or other appropriate field. Bachelors with relevant experience may be considered.
·         Hands on knowledge of online learning technologies, multi-media and alternative instructional technologies.
·         3-5 years of experience in supporting e-Learning and educational technology projects.
·         Hands-on backend experience with Learning Management System is preferred.
·         Proficiency with web-conferencing software and digital audio/video editing and authoring preferred.
·         Must be proficient in web-design, fireworks and Captivate. Experience with Adobe Flash and Dreamweaver a plus.
·         Solid knowledge of in database design (SQL Server 2005 and above), php scripting, html, javascript and other design related applications.
·         Knowledge of .NET and Visual Studio 2003 and above
·         Knowledge of data integration and synchronization process; prefer hands on experience
·         Knowledge of widely-used hardware, software, applications, resources and techniques within an education industry.
·         Ability to organize; prioritize and work efficiently under pressure and subject to changing priorities; proven experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·         Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
·         Must be a self-starter who displays excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively organize and direct staff by providing a team approach for planning, development and operation of the department.
·         Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with strong business acumen, a solid understanding of group and corporate dynamics and the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex business situations.
·         Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals at all levels in a large, complex, non-hierarchical organization as well as the ability to work with executives and senior leadership in a corporate environment.
