The VP of Product Marketing for the Energy/Utilities Group leads this software company's efforts in product definition, messaging & positioning and overall go-to-market strategy & planning for Energy/Utilities product category.

They drive all inbound product marketing activity (i.e., market analysis, strategic business planning, product strategy & messaging) and collaborate with Marketing & Communications on all outbound marketing activity (i.e., target segmentation, demand-gen strategy, internal/external communication, sales enablement & training and partner marketing).

Their natural internal partners to achieving their objectives include counterparts in Marketing & Communications, Sales and Product Management teams. They spend significant time with customers and partners to validate their product vision and build the market infrastructure to achieve it.

Product Marketing Manager—Woodcliff Lake, NJ—$75-95k

This person will be responsible for marketing our clients Data Protection product. This position reports to Director of Product Marketing.

List of activities/functions this person should have performed in the past are as follows (with 5+ years of relevant experience):

• Go-to-Market Strategy, Messaging, Planning and Execution;
• Field Enablement/Sales Training (direct with support for indirect);
• Alliance Marketing Support;
• Industry Analyst Management;
• Product Management Support;
• Market Research;
• Strategic Projects Support;
• Customer Advocacy Process.

In addition, there are three key attributes that this person must have:

Domain Knowledge – must have relevant experience in Data Protection or Storage, can take complex data protection concepts and make them consumable for those without the same depth of knowledge, can carry on an intelligent/credible conversation with key analysts (i.e. like Gartner) and has a business network that confirms his/her experience in the space.

Product Marketing Acumen – In addition to illustrating proficiency in the above activities/functions, he/she must clearly have demonstrated the ability to drive go-to-market initiatives (A-Z) and achieve measureable results.

Overall Talent – Articulate, organized thinker who can say more with less words, clear examples of bringing multiple departmental heads into a room and effectively facilitating a meeting to an agreed outcome with a clear action plan.

CGS Technology Associates is looking for Senior Business Analysts for a consulting assignment in Northern NJ.

Here is the outline:

Individual will work with business process owners to identify and document business requirements and processes that contribute to the implementation of the technology solutions. Assist with facilitating discussions with business process owners, technology members and third party vendors or consultants. Identify and document potential technology solution deficiencies. Prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables in a timely manner while adhering to the business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare documentation, presentations, charts, tables and diagrams and conduct reviews for scope, business justification and business requirements including use cases, design documents, prototypes and business rules.

Skills
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office Suite, flow charting software and project management methodologies. Business financial process experience or its equivalent in education and experience. Excellent writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills. Skilled in organizing information based on reviewing meeting notes, specifications, interviewing clients, architects and developers.
