Darigold, Inc. a dairy products and dairy ingredients company based in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a Human Resources Operations Manager. This position will be primarily responsible for the effective management of the Human Resources functions in three manufacturing facilities located in Portland, OR, Medford, OR, and Chehalis, WA. In addition, the HR Operations Manager will have significant strategic labor relations responsibilities throughout the Darigold system in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This position also assists with HR initiatives involving all areas of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

- Provides counsel and leadership to Plant and Operations Management in the assigned areas of accountability.
- Collaborates with plant and operations management in the recruitment, selection, and hiring process for positions within assigned areas.
- Collaborates with and supports the HR Director of Operations and others on labor relations issues. Is involved in grievance handling, disciplinary issues, and preparation for conference boards and arbitrations.
- Assists with the drafting of contract proposals, wage market research, costing, and bargaining strategy. Will be present for bargaining and may assume spokesperson responsibilities as necessary and appropriate.
- Assists Plant Management in the implementation of employee engagement/involvem ent initiatives and is closely involved in training, development, and succession planning of operations staff within the assigned areas.
- Guides Operations staff on compliance with Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Manages required reporting in areas of accountability and serves as EOE representative in assigned areas. Prepares AAP documentation annually and reviews plans in all assigned locations.
- Assists in formulating strategies and tactics to resolve employee relations issues and provides feedback to Plant Management to ensure corrective action is taken.
- Collaborates with Corporate HR to assist in the identification and implementation of pro-employee initiatives, training programs, wage/compensation surveys, benefits surveys, and other HR areas as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Demonstrated "hands-on" knowledge and experience with all aspects of Human Resources initiatives
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral at all levels of the organization
- Significant experience and depth in Labor Relations administration and negotiations
- Effective Planning, Organization and Control Skills
- Ability to travel to various plant locations
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or the general public
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and teaching skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor relations laws and practices

Education, Experience and Certifications:

- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, related discipline or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years minimum HR experience in unionized manufacturing required; multiple locations, food and beverage preferred
- Significant "hands on" labor relations experience with arbitrations and negotiations, including drafting proposals, researching market conditions, costing, and experience leading and/or collaborating with a bargaining team
- Demonstrated record of success in managing progressively responsible HR or Operations positions in unionized manufacturing
- Demonstrated track record of success having assisted in the development and implementation of HR programs
- SPHR Certification

Position Description:
Work with clients to understand and define business objectives, user requirements, and workflow requirements to implement the right IT solution.                                      The Transaction Database Project is a data-warehousing project compiling trade data originating in ALL of the

As you know I am waiting to see how things develop with Perry Systems.
