Need to be strong in dealing with technical team members, vendors, customers and systems integrators. Must have written technical design documents, business requirements and budget responsibilities. Will collect and define requirements, translate them into technical/functiona l design documents and participate in the technical design, test planning and user documentation processes. Will lead projects in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced applications. Must be able to analyze and evaluate user needs across multiple departments up to a senior VP or CIO level. This is a large multiplatform environment using Java, C#/ASP.Net and Oracle. Prior programming expertise with relational database management systems, SQL, and database utilities is a big plus as is experience with SSRS or SSIS. Must be able to balance a number of different projects and handle pressure well. Candidates from a retail, consumer goods, or publishing backgrounds are also a plus. This is a high level, critical to fill position for a "bring it on", eye of the tiger type of candidate.
