My client, a privately held Entertainment company is looking for a Director
of Accounting to conduct the more complex activities associated with
maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and
reports. The position will participate in the preparation of certain
financial analysis and assist in the preparation of budget/forecast.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
•Perform assigned month end closing activities, such as journal entries,
bank account reconciliations and account analysis
• Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and
statements of financial position
•Establish and assist in the continued development of financial policies and
procedures.
•Participate in the annual budgeting process, and assist with short term and

IT Specialist (NYC)
Seeking a NY-based IT Specialist and support technician that will provide
front-end desktop assistance to in-house agents within the travel industry
Position will provide application, desktop and database support with a heavy
emphasis on desktop support. Must be capable of interfacing with end-users
who are not technically savvy
Candidate must have familiarity with a variety of Windows servers including
Windows XP, Windows 7 and other MS applications including Word, PowerPoint

Basic Purpose/Scope:
Working closely with other members of accounting team to ensure timely and

requirements in format requested by Parent company.
• Assist with account reconciliation and reporting for management company.
• Manage accounting aspects of new product implementations.
• Liaison with auditors to ensure all questions related to audits are
sufficiently answered on a timely basis.
• Help design and implement necessary systems upgrades and business process
improvements surrounding the company's current framework for financial
reporting.
• Must be a self starter and adept at managing complex problems in order to

goals of the organization.
• Current knowledge of various accounting standards impacting areas of
