Position Summary:

Work with business analysts on PACE related projects. Creates programs that
satisfy every requirement listed in the functional specifications document
and follows standard coding practices. Clearly documents each coding change
made to new and existing routines.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Work with business analysts to map out and document technical
requirements
· Interpret written business requirements and technical
specification documents
· Perform coding to written technical specifications
· Develop and execute unit testing procedures
· Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective
solutions
· Work with development group to ensure that all design questions
(e.g., application security, data feeds, etc.) are addressed through the
business analysis process
· Support project tracking and monitoring
· Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified
defects
· Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Experience with Ab Initio language a plus
· Knowledge of database (Oracle), system design, and technical

Position Summary:

My client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to
support their mission critical ecommerce websites. The ideal candidate will
be an expert Linux systems administrator and have extensive experience with
large-scale websites, providing advanced troubleshooting of virtual
infrastructure, websites, systems, networks, and databases.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Support and monitor critical customer-facing websites via
real-time tools and alerts
· Optimize and maintain the health of the customer-facing websites
environment via predictive analysis trending, capacity planning and load
testing
· Create and maintain thorough documentation
· Work hand in hand with developers in a Ruby on Rails/Agile
environment
· Plan, design and manage the deployment of highly available and
scalable IT infrastructure and associated support services, including Linux
servers, SAN storage, and infrastructure services (e.g. authentication, DNS,
NTP, etc.)
· Hands-on work building, patching, and maintaining Linux systems in
an ecommerce environment
· Work with internal customers to understand requirements and make
hardware/software recommendations based on those requirements
· Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues
· Develop and deploy server management policies, procedures and
standards

Required Skills and Competencies:
· The ideal candidate possesses a degree in computer science or a
similar program
· 5+ years' hands-on experience with enterprise LAMP environments as
a System's Administrator
· System Administration experience with multiple UNIX and Linux
platforms, including Red Hat & CentOS, as well as experience administering
Windows servers and Microsoft Exchange are helpful.
· Experience with VMs, clustering, replication, and other
high-availability and disaster recovery technologies
· Experience with HP and Dell servers and Isilon SAN storage
hardware
· Experience using scripting languages for task automation (Perl,
Python, Shell, etc.)
· Excellent communication skills
· The ability to succeed under pressure and in a customer-focused
environment
· Flexibility with the proven ability to excel in an entrepreneurial
