This is a sr. manager spec. There are positions open for people from Associate to sr. manager. 

Work with institutions’ senior management and risk professionals to demonstrate how enterprise and operational risk governance interacts with risk and control assessment processes, key indicator and loss monitoring and modeling and regulatory capital calculations and risk reporting to form an overall risk framework. 

Work directly with client risk and business professionals to design, and implement enterprise and operational risk management frameworks that provide added business value through analysis and reporting and comply with regulatory expectations. 

Manage multiple teams of Enterprise Risk and OpRisk advisors through all phases of the engagement life cycle. 

Generate new business opportunities. Develop long-term relationships and networks, both internally and externally. 

Qualifications 

To qualify, candidates must have: 
· a bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience 
· a degree in a business related discipline 
· work experience in Banking Capital Markets (either in a consulting role or working within business operations/managing projects within the BCM marketplace 
· former risk related role within the banking, asset management or insurance fields (e.g., business or corporate risk manager) 
· ability to be a subject matter resource/provide industry insights into one or more of the following: 
o regulatory risk experience (Basel II, bank holding company readiness, experience with regulatory examinations/expectations) 
o project management, design or execution of risk and control “convergence” or governance risk control initiatives 
o strong knowledge of board and senior management governance, experience with board and risk committee functions (charters, operations, minutes, reporting) 
o operational risk management corporate or business specific knowledge (experience with framework components â€" governance, risk assessment, internal/external loss collection, key risk indicators, scenario analysis) 
o operational Risk quantitative skills â€" experience with design and implementation of operational risk models, Basel II/ICAAP preparedness across risk disciplines 
o enterprise risk and/or operational risk reporting and analysis experience (limits, exceptions/escalation experience, etc. a plus especially with respect to the design and implementation of these reports and frameworks) 
o enterprise risk or operational risk systems design, business requirements, implementation, end user testing 
· prior consulting experience is preferred (current state/future state assessments, business process re-design, target operating models) 
· knowledge of a range of financial products 
· strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle (including typical issues, risks and controls) a plus 
· strong analytical experience and process orientation (process documentation, mapping and redesign; business requirements documentation, root cause analysis, organizational re-design) 
· ability to understand and determine technology implications due to process changes 
· strong communication, presentation, client servicing and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing operations management knowledge. 
· strong relationship development and project management skills

someone that has headed Global Sourcing in a Multi Billion dollar company

Here is a basic overview:
Client is undertaking an* Application Development and Maintenance
Optimization Initiative. *

One of the key initiatives is to inventory, assess, and optimize firm-wide
sourcing strategies (on-shore/near-shore, off-shore, managed services).

This position is the individual who will lead that effort.

*Primary responsibilities:*

· Work directly with Senior O&S Management across all business units
(including corporate functions) of the firm, to:

­ Document their current sourcing approaches and ratios

­ Assess their current sourcing approach versus corporate
guidelines/targets and industry best practices

­ *Define a strategy to implement a revised sourcing approach (as
needed) based on business drivers/characteristics, and the application
dispensation metrics from the application inventory currently being
developed in a related ADM Optimization effort.*

*­ Define a phasing plan to migrate from the current state to the
strategic sourcing target.*

· Matrix-manage the firm-wide sourcing effort through the Program
Office.

· Have budget responsibility for the Sourcing Program Office.
