My client a Top Rating house in NYC is looking for a Business Analyst to join their PERM team.
Job Description
We need someone who has done requirements gathering and facilitating solutions (what we regard as BA type work). This person would likely have designed UAT scenarios and performed some UAT themselves.
Responsibilities
· Act as a liaison between Billing and IT technical and other support service teams
· Facilitate and coordinate work with the managers/teams within Billing
· Support initiatives in a 'business analyst' (e.g. gather requirements, craft solutions) and/or 'project manager' (e.g. identify parts, assign work, track progress) capacity
· Plan and perform 'user acceptance testing'
· Prioritize, monitor and report on Billing team system change requests
· Document processes and train users
· Contribute to the success of the Financial Systems and Billing team
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Finance/Accounting or related field
· Five years plus of experience performing in a business analyst role and supporting a financial environment
· Experience working with accounting and /or billing systems
· Good written and verbal communication skills
