<mailto:somerset_ymca_career_forum@yahoogroups.com> Hi,

I came across a job search/professional branding site that I am
not familiar with - Peoplelex.com. Has anyone used this or heard
anything about it?

They do have some job listings which is how I originally found
it. But they also offer personal websites for professional/career
branding. I can get one with my full name for $45 per year. I am
sure they also offer other services for a fee. They also claim
that they screen the recruiters and only allow those that
actually have jobs.

Having a personal webpage that people can find by searching on
your name can be good and bad as I see it. To have any value at
all the content better be good, and regularly updated. But even a
Linkedin profile can be found by googling a persons name.

Thanks
Heather
