Alicja,
Following up from our discussion I wanted to send you that information about Six Sigma at the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
The Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt exams are typically offered 2x per year. The GB exam is 100 questions in 4 hours and it is offered in June and December. The ASQ North Jersey chapter holds courses in preparation for the exam. These usually begin in October and March/April.
The BB exam is 150 questions in 4 hours with a greater emphasis upon statistics, and it is offered in Mar (??) and October. The courses begin in August and January. Both exams are discounted for ASQ members.
The ASQ North Jersey section (http://www.asqnorthjersey.org/ ) offers the 40-hour classes for around $700, and the instructors have a good pass rate for their students. The class is held on Saturdays beginning at 8:00 am in Morris Plains in the basement of a church. These are far from luxurious surroundings, but the price is absolutely rock bottom and the quality of instruction is good. I would definitely recommend it.
You are welcome to call me if you have any questions. BTW, if you do join ASQ or register for the course, could you mention me as I do get a modest referral fee ($5 ASQ bucks, and $15 respectively). Good luck.
