Objective:   This position is a part of Business Solutions team, which focuses on the business side of application development. The Business Solutions team works on all of our software applications, and participates in key long term development projects. As a whole, this team is responsible for product design, testing, release notes, and improving the overall Development and Quality Assurance process.
 
Functional Responsibilities:   This individual will be responsible for the program management of a number of compliance initiatives, and will serve as a relationship manager with the Compliance Department for the program. This individual may also directly manage one or more of the initiatives in the program. This individual will work closely with the business, sponsors, product management, business analysts, and with the application development teams, throughout the development lifecycle of each initiative. Specific responsibilities for the position may include:
 
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes a structured project management methodology. 
- Knowledge of industry tools and terminology. 
- Concurrent management of multiple moderate to highly complex projects of various durations. 
- Projects will be application development or infrastructure related. 
- Assists in developing/document ing project requirements and moves these requirements through the estimation and approval process
- Creates the project plan with deliverables and tasks. 
- Executes the plan and supports the project from initiation through delivery and post project review. 
- Updates supporting tracking systems as needed (e.g. Primavera) with all relevant project data. 
- Works effectively with the engineering process being utilized for the project, software development or infrastructure projects. (e.g. IDP software development
- Identifies and monitor risks to the project timeline and ensure risks and issues are communicated to team members, sponsors, and stakeholders; contribute feedback to functional managers for project team performance.
- Reviews risks/issues with the project team to determine potential resolutions. 
- Escalates when appropriate to senior management. 
- Reports on status of project accurately and timely including key issues, delays in timelines, and timely escalation to key stakeholders and sponsors.
- Facilitates effective communication within the team by being respectful, reasonable, building productive working relationships and engaging people in participative planning. Ability to customize the communication method for the individual and the situation. Effectively communicates status to all levels of management and resolves issues by demonstrating strong relationship management skills.
- Maintain focus on the customer throughout the project lifecycle to include effective communication and planning with the customer
- Facilitates scope definition of project with key stakeholders and team members. 
- Facilitates breaking project into work packages with appropriate team members. 
- Drive team to make decisions in a timely manner; define and manage resource needs and project schedule. 
- Facilitate identification and management of change. 
- Incorporates financial management into the project management lifecycle to enable approval and track the project budget.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA degree, preferably in business, technology or equivalent. 
- PMP certification preferred. 
- Minimum 4 - 6 years project management experience. 
- Solid understanding of the PMBOK Project Lifecycle. 
- Expert use of Microsoft Office and Project applications and tools 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
- Proven leadership, mentoring and people management skills. 
- Team development and facilitation skills. 
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. 
- IT experience, specifically within the financial services industry a plus.

The EnterpriseOne Finance Architect will work with Finance and IT staff to
effect a JDE knowledge transfer from IBM, and will be immediately
responsible for improving the original JDE design. The successful candidate
will be expected to establish and manage a systems and process architecture
for Global Finance, assuring that all elements operate seamlessly within the
Finance domain, and with the other domains (such as Order to Cash).

This position reports to the Director of Business Systems Management, Global

RESPONSIBILITIES:

. As a member of the Finance IT Business Systems Management (BSM)

REQUIRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

. 10 plus years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting

. 5 plus years of JDE Architect responsibilities

. Extensive experience in developing and managing a Finance systems

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
 
Ø      This position has a pivotal role in the Development Department, ensuring that the Individual Giving Program functions optimally and coordinating within the team and all other parts of IWHC.
Ø      The incumbent primarily supports the Development Officer, Individual Giving to plan and implement strategies and actions for Individual Giving.
Ø      The incumbent also supports the Vice President, Development in her work on major gifts and departmental planning and reports.
 
 
 
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Ø      Assists in strategic planning and executes all Individual Giving events in collaboration with Development Officer, Individual Giving, and Communications.
o       Coordinates all elements of Individual Giving special events, including managing RSVP list, seating and follow-up; develops invitations, and event collateral material.
o       Generates creative ideas for event content (e.g., themes, speakers, gala honorees).
o       Collaborates with Communications staff on messaging, media, and event program.
o       Designs and implements event follow-up plan.
Ø      Supports Development Officer, Individual Giving in sustaining and growing three donor councils and major gifts.
o       Conducts donor research, creates donor reports, and assists with prospect management.
o       Schedules donor and prospect meetings and assists with preparation of briefing memos and follow-up for staff, Board, and Committees.
o       Manages profiles on donors.
Ø      Liaises and plans with other IWHC departments, including calendar management, event coordination, and development of materials and Web content.
Ø      Prepares correspondence (internal and external) for Individual Giving, including donor profiles, acknowledgement letters, briefing memos, and emails.
Ø      Assists with meetings of Development Committee and Board:
o       Coordinates meetings; and
o       Coordinates distribution of meeting materials.
Ø      Provides administrative support to Development Officer, Individual Giving and Vice President, Development.
Ø      Participates in departmental strategic planning, including producing reports and other materials as needed.
Ø      Special projects and other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø      Bachelor's degree and four years professional experience required, minimum of two to three years in fundraising.
Ø      Fluency in MS Office software a must; experience with donor databases (especially Raiser's Edge) preferred.
Ø      Strong English language written and oral communication skills.
Ø      Attention to detail, high standards for quality and accuracy, strong numeracy and problem solving skills.
Ø      High level of productivity, initiative, creativity and excellent judgment.
Ø      Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.

Title: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance Architect

Location: Stamford, CT.

Salary Range: $140K + 10% bonus target

SUMMARY:

The EnterpriseOne Finance Architect will work with Finance and IT staff to
effect a JDE knowledge transfer from IBM, and will be immediately
responsible for improving the original JDE design. The successful candidate
will be expected to establish and manage a systems and process architecture
for Global Finance, assuring that all elements operate seamlessly within the
Finance domain, and with the other domains (such as Order to Cash).

This position reports to the Director of Business Systems Management, Global
Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* As a member of the Finance IT Business Systems Management (BSM)
team, operates in a consultative fashion, working within the Finance and IT
teams to enable best in class business strategies and solutions

* Provides Business Process Improvement services, working with
Finance to apply continuous improvement disciplines

* Operates to continuously improve the effectiveness of the Global
JDE Finance solution, including improving the rules, parameters, and
configuration of the solution

* Operates to train the extended Global Finance and IT teams in JDE
specifics

* Leverages prior experience to leverage 'best practices' into
Finance business operations, globally

* Ensures the seamless integration of all Global Finance systems,
including but not limited to JDE and Hyperion

* Performs requirements definition and system analysis duties
leveraging standard BSM methodologies

* Develops and manages the Global Finance process and systems
architecture

* Develops and nurtures consensus and working relationships with
business and technical teams

* Provides hands-on Project Management services for Finance process
improvement and systems projects

* Provides full Project Life Cycle Management services, including
Opportunity Identification, Business Case Development, Requirements
Definition, Systems Analysis, System Design, Build, Test, Implement and
Quality Assurance.

* Assists in the development of requisite systems and process
architectures.

* Supports the relevant standards and methodologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

* Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Business, or related
fields. Experience and/or other training will be considered in lieu of a
degree. Advanced degree is a decided plus

* 10 plus years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
systems solutions

* 5 plus years of JDE Architect responsibilities

* Extensive experience in developing and managing a Finance systems
and process architecture (JDE Finance and Accounting configuration, rules,
and parameters)

* Experience with non-JDE software solutions (such as Hyperion) is a
decided plus, especially their integration with JDE.

* Background in Accounting and Finance is necessary.

* Experience in leveraging JDE Finance in a global environment is a
must.

* Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes

* Proven ability to work with, interact, and influence senior
business managers and other business executives

* Finance Best Practices knowledge

* Full Project Life Cycle Management.

* Systems and process architecture development and management

* Technical Capabilities: Demonstrable knowledge of JD Edwards,
UNIX/Oracle environments, Middleware integration tools and Business
Intelligence tools

* Experience with Hyperion solutions

* Extensive experience in global consumer goods settings

* Excellent written and oral communications, change management,
leadership, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment

* Excellent organization and time management, vendor / software
supplier management and project management skills

* A high sense of the importance of business urgencies

* Solid quantitative / analytical skills and good business judgment

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
· Serves as a hub for all tracking all input and output of material identification & collection, conversion processing, management, delivery, on-line
review and production progress including daily communication with
outside counsel, Legal, IT third-party vendors, other members of Litigation Support Team
· Manages exchange of material between the company and third-party vendors.

Advanced skills:
· Experience with relational database design, MS SQL administration as well as knowledge of client-side ODBC connections
· Ability to write and adapt/modify T-SQL queries and views.
· Experience in shell scripting, VBScript, and batch file creation
· Data exchange formatting and transformation making data portable across databases, including the
ability to script transformations between litigation applications
output files and understanding of every aspect of each program's
various load files.
· Familiar
with text editing tools like Textpad or Ultra-edit in addition to
perform bulk search and replaces, block deletes and inserts.
· Good understanding of messaging servers, including MS Exchange.
· Knowledge
of desktop client applications and files (their object models),
particularly MS Office (including Office 2007 OOXML format), Outlook
and its personal mail stores (PST).

Required Experience & Technical Requirements
· AS/BS/Equivalent Training/Certification with 2+ years relevant experience.
· Prior experience with SQL and MS Access.
· Advanced Excel Skills
· High level of attention to detail.
· Ability
to monitor, evaluate and communicate status of multiple ongoing and
unrelated projects to various stakeholders both inside and outside the
company.
· Deals
directly with preservation, gathering and document processing, both
paper and electronic, as well as non-traditional formats, such as
audio, video or transactional data.
· Prior experience with pharmaceutical or chemical industry is beneficial but not required.
