Position: Accountant

Due to growth and an eye toward building for the future, a well-established Northern Connecticut-based, certified public accounting / business advisory firm is seeking self-motivated individuals that have 3+ years of experience in public accounting. The right candidates will have experience in the areas of:

 Audit
 Review and compilation services
 Preparation and/or review of business and individual tax services reporting to the Firm's partners - including working directly with clients and through staff personal.

Candidates should possess skills to plan, perform and manage various engagements. Individuals should have begun or completed the CPA certification process, have strong technology and communication skills. To succeed in this role, the individual should be self-starter, energetic and have a desire to succeed.

Requirements

Reporting to Senior Partners and working both directly with clients and through staff, this position will handle accounting and tax-related client engagements, including audits, reviews, tax return preparation, and tax and business planning.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's in Accounting along with 3+ years of related experience. You should also have begun or completed the CPA certification process.
