CLIENT
Our client is a fast growing, dynamic manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer
of apparel based in Los Angeles.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will play a critical role in
assisting management develop and drive long-term strategy, assist with the
company's budgeting, planning, and capital allocation process, help identify
and recommend business process improvements to drive significant value
creation, and participate in other strategic projects at the request of the
CFO. This position is ideal for an ambitious, pre-MBA professional who seeks
an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, rapidly-growing public company in
an influential and visible role with great potential for professional
development and career advancement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable
in an environment that is not highly-structured and with taking on
significant personal initiative in accomplishing the goals of the position.

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation and progressive refinement of monthly financial
reporting package, and continued development of key performance indicators
and enhancement of daily management reports.

- Perform analysis of projected ROI's for capital investment projects such
as for manufacturing capacity expansions and information technology
projects.

- Perform financial analysis to support company's real estate development
process to evaluate projected ROI of new retail store locations,
relocations, and renovations.

- Financial modeling and analysis of the company's operations and strategic
initiatives.

- Participate in key strategic initiatives as defined and directed by the
CFO to help identify cost reduction opportunities and improve internal
business processes.

- Preparation of ad hoc financial and business analysis as directed by CFO
(e.g., analyzing pricing, advertising effectiveness, store traffic and
conversion rates, inventory turns, sell-through rates on new products,
etc.).

- Participate in the development of investor communications, including
conference presentations, earnings releases, conference calls, analyst and
investor days, investor road shows, annual shareholder meetings; and field
periodic calls from equity analysts and mutual fund and hedge fund
investors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a heavily analytical capacity. Maximum
of 5 years of experience. This is a pre-MBA role. The ideal candidate will
have a experience in corporate finance in a demanding role such as in
investment banking, AS WELL AS experience in a more operationally focused
setting either in management consulting; private equity; or in a business
development, strategy, operations, or finance role within a company.

- Superior academic record with an undergraduate degree from a top-tier
institution (i.e., Ivy Plus caliber); CPA and CFA helpful but not required.

- Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including
significant relevant experience with financial modeling and developing
detailed operating budgets. Candidates experienced with modeling
multi-divisional entities on a bottoms-up basis, as well as modeling
companies with manufacturing operations and significant international
operations will be at an advantage. Knowledge of topics such as
inter-company eliminations and consolidations, international transfer
pricing issues, international taxation, and the like is also advantageous.

- Must have strong written and oral communication skills (assisting in the
development and drafting of presentations to senior management and outside
audiences, drafting memos and management reports to various internal
constituencies, etc.).

- Must have positive attitude, be a team player and be willing to work long
hours under challenging circumstances, with limited resources, and under
tight deadlines. This is a fast-paced, start-up, entrepreneurial environment
where people at all levels are expected to roll up their sleeves and exhibit
a can do spirit.

- Expert Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project skills;
experience with business performance management systems (e.g., Hyperion,
Cognos) and business intelligence software a plus, and experience working
and extracting information from various accounting platforms also
beneficial.

- Experience in retail and manufacturing settings a plus.

- International work experience and foreign languages a plus.

- Must have strong interest in apparel and fashion.

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary, with standard company benefits package.
Participation in management equity incentive program is possible, and
potentially significant, based on strong work performance. Relocation
benefits (travel, shipping of personal effects, and temporary corporate
housing and rental car) will be made available to qualified candidates who
are offered employment and relocate from outside the Los Angeles area.
