DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Collaborates with the user community and other technical resources to define requirements, specifications, security, and control procedures for system improvements using current technology.
* Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and installs new application systems.
* Conducts interviews to gather information to identify the needs of the user community.
* Maintains, trouble shoots and fixes errors in existing applications systems.
* Develops balancing and control points and procedures for existing and new application systems.
* Evaluates software tools and techniques to determine potential for use in existing or new applications.
* Performs functional, regression, and operational testing for all changes to the production environment.
* Develops prototypes and gives presentations to IT and functional staff where appropriate.
* Obtains End User satisfaction with all system changes.
* Performs other job related duties as required.

Bachelor's degree (preferably including courses in computer science, statistics, mathematics, accounting) or equivalent is required.
* Minimum of 6 years experience with PeopleSoft is required.
* For PeopleSoft developers, competence in Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and SQR is required. Functional understanding of Human Capital Management and North American Payroll modules is preferred.
* Experience with the following is a plus: Integration Broker, Java, MS SharePoint (WSS or MOSS), MS SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases, Stellent Workflow, BEA AquaLogic Portal, and cascading style sheets.
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* High degree of competence in analyzing user needs and providing solutions.

Altiris Administrator contract in Philadelphia PA

My client in Livingston NJ is in immediate need of a resource to handle Altiris administration in support of a desktop refresh project.

The engineer will be responsible for:

. Pushing applications and patches across a 6000 seat global network utilizing Altiris NS 7
. Generating reports on the success/failure of the distribution
. Troubleshooting and correcting the root cause of distribution failures

Requirements:

. Must have extensive Altiris deployment experience
. Must be customer focused

meeting of The Breakfast Club NJ on Saturday November 13, 2010.

Topic: When you attend networking or business meetings are you successful in
promoting yourself? Are you unsure of the best ways to do this or would you
like to improve your technique? Do you leave the meeting feeling that you
really accomplished something? If you would like to improve your networking
skills and are really get to "working the room", you should attend our
meeting on November 13th.

About the speaker: Our speaker for the event is Marty Latman. Called by some
people as the Best
Networker they know, Marty will present the basis tools you need to use to
land the position you want. Marty is the chairman of the Bergen Chapter of
Financial Executive Network Group (FENG), which he created in March 2002
with 29 members. Membership within this chapter has now grown to over 2600
