Good afternoon. My name is Mike Keneally and I am reaching out to you on behalf of Mitchell/Martin, Inc. One of our clients in the in the midtown Manhattan area is looking for a QA Manager or Project manager with a strong background with Brokerage or Fixed Income. This position is located in Downtown Manhattan.
Our client, one of the largest global investment banking and securities firms, is converting to a new trading system. Ideal candidates will have worked in a trading environment or with trading applications. The application they are moving to is IMPACT Trading application.
This is a 6 month to 1 year contract with possibility of extension. We can allow W2 or Corp.
Compensation is commensurate to experience.
Requirements:
· Coordinate testing and conversion, work with the users on the testing effort.
· Troubleshoot issues related to testing and conversion.
· Manage hands-on testing and conversion status and follow up with next steps.
· Work closely with Testing Manager in coordinating and communicating status.
· Develop relationships with core users in Ops and Finance.
· Knowledge of impact FI products and core ops and finance processes
· Knowledge of impact procedures, processes and EOD process (files, reports, etc.)
· Hands on experience with impact testing and conversion efforts.
There are more specifics to the role which I would be happy to further discuss with you.
