Position Responsibilities – Summary

The Senior Systems Business Analyst is responsible for successful
participation and leadership in projects of various sizes, impact and
complexity in support of the company's business plan. Principal duties
include eliciting and documenting functionality requirements for software
applications as well as providing peer reviews of requirements written by
other team members.

This individual will be called upon to lead requirement and brainstorming
sessions to determine appropriate needs and solutions. This position will be
required to move fluidly between the business users, application
development, quality assurance and other professional services to identify,
evaluate and document requirements that meet business needs.

The Sr. Systems Business Analyst will work as a conduit between the customer
community and application development team through which requirements flow,
interpreting and anticipating business needs with clarity and completeness.
The successful candidate will have the ability to use sound judgment to make
key decisions in the approach, design, scope and solution of business
requests in order to meet both strategic and tactical goals.

The Sr. Systems Business Analyst is also responsible to prepare the business
community for the newly introduced functionality by preparing comprehensive
implementation plans, communicating implementation and change to key
stakeholders and providing training to impacted users.

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Act as the liaison between the technology groups and the Business
Customers
· Provide guidance and leadership to BA(s) and Project Teams
· Train, coach and mentor junior or new members of the team
· Fulfill the role of BA Lead while working on initiatives including
leading and facilit1ating meetings and working sessions.
· Determine the approach for gathering requirements and determine
the required deliverables for assigned projects
· Perform research and analysis to deliver high quality detailed
business requirements that can be understood by the business users and the
development teams.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelors Degree plus 6 years experience - Advanced degree
preferred.
· Experience includes working as a Business Analyst, Systems
Analyst, Project Manager or Quality Assurance Analyst.
· Must have domain expertise in the Property & Casualty Insurance
space.
· Project Lead experience required.
· With little supervision the Senior Systems Business Analyst must
be able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines while delivering high
quality, and positive outcomes resulting in high levels of customer
satisfaction.
· The successful candidate will have strong written, verbal and
presentation communication skills, have a thorough understanding of business
processes, the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, strong
analytical skills, as well as the ability to think abstractly, identify
patterns and use sound judgment to generate creative ideas and solutions.
· A Senior Business Analyst will be required to be well versed in
both the business and technology domains in order to make sound decisions in
the use of automated solutions.
· This role requires innovative thinking, the ability to resolve
conflict and demonstrated success leading and motivating others.

· Excellent knowledge of OOAD, UML, Design Patterns and Data
Structures.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· End-to-end experience in agile software development lifecycle.

The Investment Administration Applications team is seeking a Lead Systems
Analyst who will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing,
and project management for initiatives supporting the Performance Services
group within Investment Administration. The Performance Services group is
responsible for investment performance measurement, performance attribution,
benchmark maintenance, and GIPS composite maintenance.

Key Responsibilities;

The Lead Systems Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

· Interact with investment professionals to proactively identify

enhancements.
· Coordinate the work of systems analysts, software developers,
database architects and data vendors to design and implement robust
technical solutions.

Keys to this Position:
1. 5 years of Performance Measurement and Attribution experience is
required.
2. 10 years of financial services industry is required, preferably asset
management.
3. Strong Systems Analysis skills are required.
4. The CFA is a strong plus.
5. We will also consider recent MBA grads (2010/2011) from top tier schools
that don't have the above experience (i.e. Sloan, Wharton, etc.)
6. We will also consider strong MBA's with math/quant background that do
not have performance.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· A minimum of 10 years of work experience in a financial services
technology environment.
· A minimum of 5 years experience developing or supporting
performance measurement and/or performance attribution applications.
· Strong understanding of investment processes, securities,
analytics and market data services.

Key Responsibilities;

· Develop and execute testing strategy based on the application

2. This individual should have expertise in the QA space, be able to make
recommendations, set direction and define strategy.
3. Domain knowledge: This individual needs to have QA leadership
experience in the back office in one or more of the following areas: Fund
Accounting, Swift, Settlements and/or Performance.
4. Expertise with QA tools such as QC, QTP and Load runner

The ideal candidate must have expertise in QA, excellent leadership and
communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple QA tracks.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Seven plus years experience as a QA engineer and three plus years
experience in leading a QA team on complex projects
