Counterparty Documentation-Senior Derivatives Specialist – NYC

Draft and negotiate derivatives and security documentation for municipal, not for profit, other 501(c)(3) and tribal bank customers. Documentation include, but are not limited to, ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, MSFTAs, Repo Agreements and other forms of agreements including ancillary agreements. Negotiations are primarily with financial advisors and legal counsel representing our customers.

In addition, review capacity and authority documentation such as corporate resolutions as well as legal opinions for capacity and enforceability purposes. Advise marketers, legal, traders and credit personnel of any respective business, legal, credit or operational issues during the contract negotiation period and obtain necessary approvals. Review and understand loan or bond related security documentation and covenants.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years derivatives experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Financial services or capital markets/banking sector experience. Experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements. Solid understanding of bank derivatives activities, transaction processes and documentation methods, and proficiency with the ISDA Credit Support Annex (CSA). Excellent interpersonal, precise communication and effective negotiation skills; able to interface effectively with many varied levels of management throughout the organization, business partners, clients and their counsel. Ability to communicate with associates and client representatives at all levels. Ability to exercise mature judgment, to raise questions to management and/or counsel, and to adhere to policy guidelines. Self-motivated individual who excels in multi-tasking, capable of working autonomously and enjoys working in a trading environment. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as strong reading and analytical skills. Superior attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Strong proficiency with MS software application skills.

-These businesses are dynamic and innovative and require a high level of multitasking ability, creativity, responsiveness and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills
-JD and/or public finance experience a plus.

The primary responsibility of this position is to be accountable for the strategy development, key strategic project management, and process design for the Strategic Planning and Analysis Group. Individual will conduct research, perform supply chain analysis and problem solving relative to establishing strategic supply chain direction as well as optimization of current Product Supply SAP SCM planning tools, inventory, forecasting, planning, and scheduling processes. Document current supply chain network and perform analysis on optimization opportunities. Accountability includes supply chain direction setting, management of cost savings initiatives and metrics, measurement and benchmarking for Global Product Supply.

-Analyze, plan, and implement on assigned DC Product Supply projects providing management with accurate and relevant information to make effective decisions in response to product supply issues or opportunities. Recommends strategies and actions based on analysis;

-Lead the design, implementation, and standardization of global strategic projects across multiple areas supporting DC PS requirements and organization objectives: supply chain network, sourcing, planning tools, process redesign

-Identify, redesign and implement process enhancements / improvements supporting Sales and Operations Planning, inventory management, forecasting and sourcing, new product development and other areas.

-Identify and recommend research projects in areas of responsibility to help optimize growth opportunities and support Product Supply strategic direction;

-Collaborate with PS stakeholders to extract requirements, develop plans, timelines, reporting and metrics for specific PS projects;

-Serve as Product Supply due diligence team member to support Business Development as required;

-Acquire and maintain knowledge of industry trends and professional practices and techniques within areas of responsibilities;

-Support Product Supply planning systems across PS organization
Identify problems/opportunities, as well as recommending solutions to problems identified by management.

Knowledge of consumer products manufacturing, Supply Chain strategies projects and problem solving;

- Experience in medical device or similar industry
- Experience working in a global role
- Experience in Supply Chain strategy and process design in both industry and consulting roles
- Experience working with SAP, including implementation and network optimization analysis
- Masters Degree

OVERVIEW
Regional responsibility for the America's conducting market research, competitive intelligence and primary research identifying driving technologies for electronic development of new products and new emerging suppliers. Effective communications and coordination with other internal cross functions to develop technical information establish technical knowledge base and deliver technical campaigns regionally to the electronic design engineer customer base. Internal client is creative marketing, sales supplier account mgrs and the product mgmt team.

Candidate needs to have understanding of electronic component/semi-conductor industry and/or print circuit board design and have worked with suppliers extensively. Role will be responsible for driving technology development of electronic products and writing technical articles contributing to firm's blog with design engineers in mind. This role will market both the product and content. This is a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Note: this is not a sales role.

MUST HAVE's for this job.

1. Technical Degree: electrical or electronics engineering
2. A overall 15 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in
product marketing or technical marketing
3. Direct Design & applications engineering experience
4. Strong team player and good communication skills at all levels
5. Great people person with good stakeholder management/influencing
skills
6. Highly organized and methodical in managing multiple priorities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze product, market, customer & competitor landscapes using
internal andexternal resources (CRM dashboards, surveys, industry
reports)
• Deliver market intelligence to senior executives via industry
reports, executive summaries and presentations. Generate quarterly
presentations to explain marketing campaigns to Supplier Account
Managers, Product Managers,and Suppliers
• Write monthly technical eNewsletters and prepare content for weekly
new product introduction eNewsletters. Contribute content (blog,
answer questions,comment, etc) to our online worldwide technical
community
• Apply quantitative methods to market research using growth rates a
and addressable market figures to support financial valuations of
targets
• Identify product associations and write rules to feature SKUs

• Proof read and narrate TechCast training modules. Develop training
material for sales and technical service personnel
• Research and identify new and emerging technologies of strategic
interest to electronic design engineer customers
• Work with peers in the Global Technical Marketing team and
