SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading global consumer products
company, is seeking a Global
Supply Chain Systems Architect who will be
involved in transforming both
business process work flows and the supporting
IT systems for Global Product
Innovation and Supply Chain Management. This
position will report to the
Manager of Global Supply Chain Systems and will
work with senior managers
and executives, IT Applications and Infrastructures
groups and appropriate
vendors.
This position requires experience in both
IT technical systems and business
process reengineering.

Responsibilities include: Business Requirement Definition,
Application
Systems Analysis and Design, System Architecture Analysis and
Design and
Technical Support, ensuring the delivery and support of high
quality
business systems solutions. The successful candidate will function as
a
technical expert in the assigned areas and maintain technical
capabilities
for the following 3rd party business systems solutions:
Manugistics (JDA)
for Demand and Supply Planning; Interspec (Siemens) for
Specification
Management and JD Edwards (Oracle) for ERP. In addition, the
Architect will
support the relevant IT standards and methodologies, develop
and maintain
appropriate level of systems documentation and work with the
Supply Chain
staff to leverage 'best practices' into business operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
. Four-year college degree in
Computer Science, Business, or related
fields, experience and/or other
training will be considered in lieu of a
degree.
Advance degree is a
decided plus.
. 10+ years of relevant experience in Supply
Chain Systems concepts,
processes and solutions, including, R&D, Package
Engineering, Demand
Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Supply
Planning, Sourcing and QA.
. 3-5 years of supervisory
responsibilities.
. Technical Capabilities
. In-depth knowledge of Manugistics
. In-depth knowledge of Interspec
.
Experience in either JDE or SAP for Supply Chain operations.
. Korn Shell and PL/SQL Programming
. AIX/Oracle environments.
. Fluent
in SQL for ad-hoc data analysis
. Tidal Job Scheduling (or
the equivalent)
. Business Objects and/or Oracle
Discoverer
. Management skills proven ability to work
with, interact, and
influence
senior Supply Chain managers and other
business executives.
. IT and Supply Chain Best Practices
knowledge: Full Project Life
Cycle
Management and Management of software
supplier relationships
. Extensive experience in global
consumer goods.
. Ability to operate in a matrixed, global
environment.
. Extensive experience operating with
business teams at the highest
levels.
. Excellent
organization and time management, vendor management, and
project Management
skills.
. Ability to generate results through 3rd party
working relationships.

. Excellent communications

Design, develop and document any web services required

Work with Business Analysts and Architects to design & develop functionalities that meet business requirements.

Qualifications
Interwoven Worksite is mandatory
At least 10 years software development experience

.NET, C#, SQL, SQL Server (or Oracle)
Workflow – either Metastorm, or Windows Workflow Foundation
Experienced in converting use cases/requirements into functional/technical specifications
Development of QA test scripts with some QA/testing experience
Able to assist with the design/architect of enterprise application modules
Experience with Full Lifecycle of Software Development
Able to create project plans with team members, and maintain plans during project

Responsibilities will include document management system implementation (Install & Configuration Guides, Run Books etc.), and testing.
