LinkedIn - two followup items

Hi All,

For those who attended Saturday's workshop on LinkedIn, the Job Search, and You, here are a couple of follow-up items.

1.Heather asked about whether LinkedIn was changing its user interface. And Sam Velu sent the following:

I have received notice from a few people that LinkedIn looks different than it used to. I just read that LinkedIn is testing a new user interface, one they hope makes it easier to use to their product. You can learn more from their blog at http://blog.linkedin.com/2009/11/06/kevin-bury-a-new-design-for-linkedin/

2.Linda asked if LinkedIn has a way to keep notes on your contacts. She later sent me the following:

Hi Terry,
Do you remember my question about adding contact information such as
how you met an individual? I just saw where to actually do it. When you
select Contacts and your list of connections appear, you have an option
to view and edit (appears under their name on the list). It is there
where you can add personal info and notes.

Thought I'd let you know for future.

Linda
