We are looking to fill several roles in C# Financial Analytics - Software Development. Pls. let me know if you have an interest in pursuing. This is a full-time role, but contractors may also be considered. Also, relevant experience in Credit Default Swaps and related instruments is also sought for other roles.
C# Software Developer - Financial Analytics
Location: New York
Reports To: Vice President Systems Development
Primary Responsibilities:
The Developer writes business and technical specifications and designs codes and tests Financial Analytics Software in C#.
•Works independently with supervision and communicates with other team
•Provides third-tier customer support as required
Experience and Skills Required:
•Strong knowledge of C# and object-oriented design and development
•Solid mathematical background (Probability, Statistics, Random Processes)
•Full SDLC background
•Excellent communication skills
• Financial Markets background, with derivatives background preferred.
•Knowledge of derivatives modeling and pricing concepts is an asset
Work Experience:
•Minimum of 2 to 4 years of industry experience as a Software Developer, ideally in a financial analytics environment
•Experience developing multithreaded, distributed, n-tier applications using Microsoft .NET and Visual Studio 2005/2008
•Desirable: Experience developing derivatives pricing or risk management applications for one or more asset classes (Interest Rates, FX, Credit Risk , Equities) is an asset
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, etc. Masters degree preferred, such as Masters in Financial Engineering
