Position Title- Associate Project Manager Location- New york Term-Fulltime/permanent SKILLS: Demonstrated project management skills utilizing Microsoft Project are required. Excellent skills in Excel required. Excellent analytical, process improvement and problem resolution skills are required. Experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects is required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are also required. Excellent time management skills are required. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage small to medium projects including timelines and results. Works cross-functionally with IS, Data Team, Product, Vendors and other parties to create, monitor and maintain project timelines, resources and metrics. Tracks all open issues during the course of each project ensuring proper visibility, prioritization, ownership and resolution. Monitors performance against goal and timelines, analyzes results, and initiates appropriate action when required. Develops project metrics, reports and analytics used to measure and monitor project/performance standards. Assists with the analysis and development of system enhancements, process improvements and efficiencies by identifying opportunities, identifying potential solutions and driving agreement on resolution. Supports and participates in all efforts including data collection, data review, quality assurance and process review and validation to ensure data is consistent and accurate across databases and data entry efforts. Utilizes Excel, Access and other software solutions to support project management and decision making. Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or the equivalent is required. Minimum of three years project management related experience utilizing Microsoft Project is required. PM Certification preferred.
