This position is located in New York, NY.
Princeton Information is seeking a highly motivated Sr. BA with a Financial Services or Fixed Income/Equity Finance background, for the position on the Liquidity Management Initiative.
 
The successful candidate would be responsible for:

   • Providing detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows for secured funding across Fixed Income, Equities, Treasury & Operations.
   • Understanding and analyzing gaps in capabilities (e.g. inventory positions, secured financing reporting), determining appropriate data sources and/or application enhancements required to address the gaps.
   • Proposing and driving both tactical improvements, as well as strategic solutions to improve the overall funding process.
   • Developing detailed requirements, prototyping solutions (e.g. reports/screens), and managing  execution for these solutions as appropriate.

This role will be well suited to a candidate who can:

   • Effectively communicate with the business and technology
   • Work across business lines and supporting technology groups as needed

Operate at both a strategic and very detailed “hands on” level Job Background/context:
 
Liquidity Management is a highly visible initiative within Cross-Products Technology in Capital Markets, to review and improve the secured funding processes for the firm, across Fixed Income Finance, Equity Finance, Treasury and Operations.
A key area of focus is to establish global, cross-product inventory/position management and reporting capabilities which provide complete and consistent information to the financing desks and Treasury. These capabilities are required both intraday to improve position management and funding efficiency, and at end of day for managing the overall funding profile and targets for the firm.
A key facet of this initiative is to understand all the different platform strategies which impact the funding process across a complex front-to-back environment; and to bring data/processes together to achieve short term funding gains whilst driving towards a strategic future state.
This role will provide the opportunity for the candidate to gain experience in mission-critical firm-wide funding processes and flows across multiple product lines, and to develop solutions which will have a direct and visible impact on the bottom line for the firm. Knowledge/Experience:

      • Strong analysis skills, with ability to drill down into detailed specifics (products, trade types, entities, report calculations etc)
      • Gathering and writing complex requirements.

The IT Risk Management Manager leads and directs the activities of the IT Risk Management team and plans and develops the IT Risk Management framework. This position is responsible for managing IT operational risks and recommending mitigation strategies to business leaders.  The IT Risk Management Manager provides support and guidance to the business and IT staff on risk related issues.
 

-Develop, plan and implement the IT Risk Management framework.
-Manage the business line analysis of IT operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies to business leaders.
-Partner with IT leadership in the development of solutions that reduce or mitigate IT operational risk.
-Oversee risk mitigation projects and provide regular progress reports to senior IT leadership.
-Develop new IT risk initiatives, including policies, processes and awareness programs.
-Apply risk management processes to enable control evaluation, implementation and residual risk acceptance.

-Approve the selection and implementation of risk analysis tools.
-Ensure adherence to operational risk policies that outline the desired standards for risk measurement and clear guidelines for practices that may contribute to a reduction in operational risk.

-Ensure appropriate resources are in place to support all IT risk management initiatives.
-Lead and direct the activities of the IT Risk Management team.
-Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
-Manage the Performance Management process for direct reports.
-Communicate key priorities and monitor their progress.
 
 
Requirements;

-Bachelors degree , equivalent work experience or specialized training required
-8+ years of relevant work experience
-Prior management experience
-Experience in the financial services industry

-Experience with risk and threat assessment methodologies
-Core knowledge of IT regulatory, Privacy and compliance requirements including GLB, COBIT, Data Protection Act, ITIL, FFIEC, ISO 27001 and similar standards and laws.
-Experience with network and security components, including firewalls
-Experience with IP, TCP/IP and other network administration protocols, including their vulnerabilities and solutions required
-Experience with operating platforms, database and sub-system platforms and products
-Experience with standard desktop tools, including Microsoft Office
-Ability to weigh business needs against risk concerns and articulate issues to management
-Ability to handle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
-Strong problem solving, organizational and project management skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Strong relationship and people management skills

Willingness to obtain CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CRISC ( Certified in Risk and Information Controls) accreditation
