Sr. Business Analyst
Location: NYC, NY
Responsibilities:
- Develop business and technology requirements for Credit Risk software development projects. This includes the ability to understand complex products, businesses, and operational processes
- Perform business and data analysis in development of requirements and in ongoing support of production applications
- Under project manager guidance, coordinate the activities of technology teams in various organizations within the bank during project development
- Conduct project team meetings
- Maintain project documentation – eg, project plans, issues lists
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with QA team
- Support various mandatory firmwide activities – Continuity of Business testing, for example
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required. The ability to understand and document the needs of the client and to communicate these needs to the technology team is essential.
- Ability to work independently given general guidance.
- Other required skills: MS Project, Excel, SQL, Visio
- Background/familiarity with traded products is desirable
- Basel experience is desirable.
