BASE SALARY - 150-190K My client a Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a VP, Project Manager as a fulltime employee in NYC for their Wealth Management Group. Job Description The Project Manager of Integration Services Technology for Brokerage Firm Wealth is a senior, technology delivery role in the Integration Services Technology organization. The role holder acts as the strategic liaison between the Integration Services Technology team and the multiple business technology teams within the Wealth organization to enable the major systems integration programs and deliver the key integration components with the global architecture. The role holder will be part of the Integration Services Technology leadership team and responsible for the project management of the core services projects which will be used, globally, by all business and technology teams. Specific responsibilities include: . Responsible for the full end to end delivery of theInstrument Master integration with Portfolio Management; Both US and global deliveries . Facilitate requirement gathering sessions across business, infrastructure and other workstreams. . Interview various members of the organization to identify and document business needs. . Conduct workshops to discuss issues and develop solutions. . Working in conjunction with a Technical Lead and Solutions Architect, responsible for overall project plan, milestones and tasks of the project . Responsible for the completion of BRD/FSD . Review and provide feedback on deliverables produced by BAs, IT, Ops and other workstreams . Deal with issues that are raised by the project team with regard to requirements. Capture and manage project risks and issues, and escalate as needed. . Responsible for UAT planning and execution . Responsible for getting business sign off after the completion of UAT . Report status to overall Program Lead Requirements: Academic and professional qualifications . BS/BA degree . 5+ years of professional work experience . 5+ years prior experience in one of the following subject areas is a must: Instrument Reference Database Management, Wealth Management Business, and/or Capital Markets Product Support/Trading (front and back-office process). . 5+ years prior experience writing Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specification Documents . 3+ years of Project Management experience . 3+ years experience in complete SDLC process . Proven track record of managing business analyst team . Project Management certification a plus . Industry certification a plus (e.g. Series 7, CFA) . Financial services industry experience preferred . Strong knowledge of the banking business (e.g. brokerage, asset management, financial market, portfolio management, banking operations, finance product control, and product static data) . Virtual Global analyst team management experience is highly preferred . Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, and Visio Time is of the essence!
