 Level: Junior to Intermediate (2 to 5 years of experience)
Job Description

·        Collaborate with engineers, architects, developers, project managers and management in identifying opportunities for leveraging in-house and external technology solutions to improve Actuarial IT processing in the realm of High Performance Computing (HPC).
·        Collaborate with appropriate resources to design a flexible and scalable high performance computing & storage infrastructure to be implemented in multiple phases.
·        Creation & maintenance of a variety of operational and infrastructure documentation, standards, diagrams/workflows and procedural manuals. (Knowledge of technical writing concepts desired).
·        Build solid relationships with internal business partners and technology team members across organizational lines and levels.
·        Prototype, evaluate and analyze solutions and best practices in the HPC space
·        Facilitate project scope and requirements gathering for complex business system solutions.
·        Collect and present information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems.
·        Provide weekly status reports to Prudential project manager.

Required Skills/Experience

·        Structured work habits and excellent time management skills are required.
·        Strong relationship building skills are required.
·        Highly developed infrastructure, analytical, facilitation, problem solving, communication and organization skills are required.
·        Significant experience in HPC based infrastructure environments required
·        Knowledge of Financial HPC solutions or Microsoft MS HPC based solution is a plus
·        Performance tuning and troubleshooting bottlenecks at the o/s level is a plus
